So the LPM has suddenly become GOD to some people just because they come up with some sweet talk on the paper. We must remember the UWP came up with more of these kind of talks in 1996. Where did their elaborate plans and talks went to? Let us not pertend and play blind trying to make people the SLP has no plans and sustain policies for St Lucia. We do not have to go very far just read their manifesto and their website, or just look all over St Lucia and their development is glaring for all to see.

These require minimal brain function that past the truth test, the rational test, and the logic exam;

Reform the tax code and make available lower tax rates for business as well as families;

Strengthen regulations and centralize access to creativity and innovation for doing business in Saint Lucia;

Formulate financial policy and enhance the financial service sector to attract micro-business funding and foreign direct investment outside the current framework of ministerial involvement;

Establish a formal role for small business enterprise (SME’s), joint venture, and public/private sector in legislation and regulation that affect the economy;

Streamline a trade policy and energy security that is eco-friendly; alongside a foreign policy object to research and development, science and technology, innovation and diplomacy;

In keeping with the goal to make Saint Lucia a developed nation by 2020, knowledge transfer for the creation of human capital in science, technology, engineering and maths, (S.T.E.M) will break new ground;

The dynamic for all of this is to have stability via the rule of law that will create tranquility for economic growth and the creation of a fiscal structure to balance Saint Lucia’s budget.

These are very practical steps that can regain Saint Lucia’s entrepreneurial diversity and re-direct its competitive edge to achieve economic viability.

Can you come up with some ideas to counter above.A new day is here.

The greatest of all achievements have always started with a first thought. If you can conceive it like Steve Jobs, you can do it.

LPM, great plan of A-C-T-I-O-N and direction -- and not empty 'We suck less' talk, like what the SLP copied and hurriedly put to in their 'me too' press. As usual, SLP always following the LPM. Is the leadership of the SLP being inspired and prodded by the newcomer on the block, the LPM?
