Mosa's diatribe shows much ignorance and dishonesty. It was the Labour Party government that destroyed the banana industry. Government sold out the industry and called this privatization. The intention was to divide farmers, thus political leverage and the powerlessness of farmers, and no consideration was given for their economic power. Following the sell-out and the fragmentation of a vibrant organization, farmers began to fight among themselves and the industry began to suffer all sorts of diseases, including pennylessness. Mosa needs to clear his conscience and think deeper.

Why these UWPS like to spread so much propaganda? I read the article and I never say where Mosa blamed anybody for distroying bananas. All he said was, UWP neglected the farmers, they did not help them. They use that phrase"SLP kill the banans industry" to win the last election, Eziekiel won the Babonneau seat by promising to bring bananas back, which SLP killed. When he won he turn his back on the farmers saying he cannot interfer because the industry is privatized.

If SLP killed bananas in St Lucia, then they there were in all the other islands where they killed it also. Because the bananas industry is dead in all the other islands.

Here we go again, we promised to bring back the green gold as an election promise. What has happen to this pledge? At lease labour acknowledged that bananas was on its way out but you said no. Over to you #1 & 2.
