Regis' move is in the best interest of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force. He is however, a very sloppy copper, François is way more qualified and loyal than him.

May the Force (Star-wars) be with François :) and my God bless Saint Lucia, hope She (Saint Lucia) is watching over us.

A safe and prosperous Saint Lucia is my prayer.

What's the big deal. Isn't this the same position the UWP had put his arse in?

Move on ....

I know!

Whatever may have been Mr. Regis' strengths and weaknesses as a policeman his main failure was in securing the loyalty and respect of his subordinates. We should all look carefully at Mr. Francois' success in this area against our assessment of the fundamental honesty of those same subordinates, especially those currently not allowed to enter the USA.

To put it another way we need to be sure that Mr. Regis was not "fitted up".

I hope Kenny and company are talking note. The vast majority of St Lucians are greatful and satisfy with the work of Francois. Most I believe are going to say that this man is the best man for the job.

shut your mouth.

because the name of the portfolio change regis think st.lucians stupid it is still the same job the former administration offered you. but after all you can't debate with Kenny cause you know not going to win. wow how foolish you think people are; Mr.regis bringing the former administration to court because they removed you as commissioner of the royal st. Lucia police force but you know what we know it was a political move haha who is laughing now.

why isn't Mr.regis reinstated as commissioner of the ROYAL ST.LUCIA POLICE FORCE isn't that what the court ordered.

Anonymous said...

He wasn't reinstated by the SLP for the same reason he was removed by the UWP. Regis knows that he does not have any respect and influence over the force. He played sick not wanting to seat in Kings office doing nothing. LOL. Look at how Kenny has made a monkey out of him. He offered him the same job that was offered to him by the flambeaus. LOL

Only in St Lucia.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, the court ordered it but it is not in the best interest of Saint Lucia, it will only weaken the force and Kenny knows that.

Maybe he should investigate the rapists in the Labour government.

Regis working in the Prime Minister's office during the King Administration was wrong; but is right under Kenny.
Tom Chou during the King Administration was unacceptable; but is now somehow acceptable under Kenny.
Bousquet during the King Administration wasn't fit to serve as Foreign Minister; but under Kenny, Theophilus is somehow fit to serve as Tourism Minister.

A politician would say and do anything to win.

Even in this forum, The members of the UWP can't get over their loss at the polls. Mr. Regis took them to court because the previous government handled the whole situation wrongly. There was never any formal inquiry as to his job performance. The then Prime Minister made him look incompetent by transferring him without proper consultation with the man. Take off your yellow tinted lens before you comment.

Anonymous before...how can King decipher what was wrong and what was right? the man is not schooled so every dick Tom and Harry was pulling is string. Thank God we god rid of King and his merry gang NEVER to rear their ugly heads again. For the UWP's commenting, the lagasse finish; no more contracts so you all could die.Well respectability, pride and dignity has returned to our country locally regionally and internationally. We are no longer faced with those weekly scandals of corruption and enept government. May the UWP RIP

So this is how kenny creates jobs.
now we have a "special advisor" the country does not need costing over $200,000 annually.
What will the "advisor" do that is not being done already or has not been done already ?

just as there is a SLP big wig honcho going around "facilitating" and doing jobs that should not be done or should be done by the public service.
why does the Govt spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a facilitatior to fix up minsiter's offices and "manage" the STEP program and other non essential programs.

how much is this "facilitator" being paid.

just more jobs for SLP part hacks when we have to borrow money to keep people on the government payroll !.

It's not so much that the King administration removed Mr.Regis, it was the manner in which it was done, which created the problem.

The courts sided with Regis which means that legally he should have gotten his job back. After being away for so long and under the circumstances, it was not in Mr. Regis's best interests or the country's best interest to have him return to his old job.
The way I look at it, the government's hands were tied, either give him back his old job which he was legally entitled to, or give him another job. This whole situation could have been avoided if the King administration had done things correctly in the first place.

Regis has no shame. After taking a fat salary on the backs of taxpayers under false pretenses (pretending he was sick) now he has the gall to accept more money for wrongful transfer to the same position he did not want to be transferred during UWP rule. I wonder how much the doctor who "fixed him up" is getting paid for helping him deceive St. Lucians.

THIS IS THE PRICE YOU PAY WHEN YOU HAD A GOVT.IN OFFICE WHO DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING>NOW THE SLP HAVE TO FIX ALL THEIR WRONGDOING COSTING US LOTS OF SCARCE MONEY<OVER TO SICK RICK

it just goes to show the true kenny we are dealing with i cannot understand why the same job that regis ws transfered to that he called in sick for on year and now he has taken the same job for slp what a shame regis tanto tanto time will tell

TANTO TANTO TIME WILL TELL FOR U, AND NOT REGIS. VEYEA ZARPHEY PI TOE.

I don't know why I take time to read the crappy things the SLP do. Call me a jackass but isn't this the same position the UWP had offered Regis?

What happen? My eye balls burning me. Better Days?

pay jole ou

Anonymous said...

pay jole ou is a predictable answer. This is all the labour boys and gals can say these days. Please forgive them they are bankrupt of ideas.

Regis knows this settlement is an ill-gotten gain.I hope he remembers his deception when retribution hits him, as surely, it will.

King claims to be baffled by Regis' new position. I am however still in a state of shock and bewilderment that he was ever Prime Minister.

My intuiton is that the SLP Party was caught between the court's decision - a victory foRegis - and its victory at the elections. Those two events left them I mean the authorities of the SLP in shcok. So decision time was difficult. and the only offer was the one done by Mr. Stephensn King, under a different name. Karma, I would think. What you refused is what is still on your table. Politics. FFFFFFFFFFFOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Budget is round the corner.VAT is coming in April. Oil prices are sky rocketing. The cost goods and services inflating. Now these idiots are in government they are singing a different tune. Regis now is fit to go to the same job he was sick for. SMH there is a God above and i am a young lady and i am hoping to see all those monkies on a stick. I am thankful that i can eat and drink because, following the ideals of a conservative party (UWP) i have been taught to be self sufficient. For all you liberal, socialist, welfare gobbling labour enrouge monkies out there, keep begging. And for the record i am happy that my party has taking a pause from governing and left it for the wishmakers to run. Now we are enjoying the show.
