The fact that this is the first comment says it all. Driving in St. Lucia is the worst I have ever seen, it feels almost like no one knows how to drive, A local told me that St Lucians don't need to wear a seat belt because nothing will happem to them. This sort of ignorance is startling. Wake up St. Lucia and smell the coffee!

I wonder if there is a traffic department in the police force. There is inadequate traffic signs to alert drivers of pricipitous roads, especially guardless curves. I see police vigilence on the roads as a deterence for careless driving and a means of generating funds, by issuing traffic tickets. Drivers, particularly young ones need to understand the responsibilities which go with driving.
