Why would a supposedly brilliant woman with all she has going for her want to mess with a much younger rastaman? was it for hot sex, or for junk drugs or both. I question her state of mind. Only crazy folks who have taken leave of their mental faculties would want to fall for this sort of behavior. Yet it does not surprise me.

There's a sucker born every minute. What a waste of education, waste of life, what was this beautiful vivacious woman thinking? I'm a born St.Lucian and i'm telling you I would not give them filthy, lazy, money hungry Rastas half a minute of my time hell no.Some of you all white women are sex and drug crazy you all come down to the islands looking for nothing else but drugs and the big bamboo and them hungry losers will use you all all the way to the bank. Why don't you all come enjoy the land friendly people sea and sun good food and rum why go after them dirty hustlers. Now you all are giving my country a bad name because of you all stupidity you wanted a boy toy now look what happen. I feel your family pain but it could of been avoided if you had only think twice.RIP if the loser is guilty hope he rot in jail.

More shame for St Lucia.

Lorne Theophilus and now this.

Looks like a bad destination for women, a backward place with backward values laughing at the fairer sex from the rastamen to the government.

Does not seem to be a random act of wanton violence or robbery. Perhaps there was too slosh money to buy the more potent form of ganja that the Dutch now want to put restrictions on its sale in Holland.

I feel for the relatives. But an accomplished woman should have made a better choice of a partner and not one with a drug habit for starters.

It seems like a domestic affair that went sour. It is a sad and unnecessary loss of life.

Wow! Blaming the victim. For the person who said the dead lady gave the country a bad name, I think whoever caused her death already did that. And all of us St. Lucians who accept crimes against women and children and look the other way, pretend it didn't happen, or blame the victims because they wore the wrong clothes etc, we already gave the country a bad name. I hope they figure out what happened here.

It wasn't that long ago that two British women were raped at Grande Anse beach here in St.Lucia; up until now no one has been arrested. Then a another woman was either pushed or fell off a cliff; again no arrest. And now this; all within one year.
So you can't really blame the British for being angry with the St.Lucian police when you consider we chased a British Police Chief from our island and we ourselves cannot slove one damn crime.

More than suspicious. Plain murder perhaps under the influence of narcotics. Crazy world. Could have happened anywhere else.

The fact is we have two accused rapists as senior members of this government.

There is nothing wrong with marring a younger person, the opposite being implied by one of the stone-age bloggers. I pose the question: who and what determines the acceptable age difference? If the man is much older does the woman have to commit adultery? But adultery is committed by people of equal age – so there! If she was vivacious as described, then it is reasonable that she would be attracted to a young lively person – the young Rasta makes sense. Her cause of death is conjecture – “Suspicious circumstances” means the police does not know if she was murdered or committed suicide. I would not loose sleep over the loss of British tourist money – they are broke and bankrupt now that they have to compete with China and India – their days of plundering and piracy is ended. Stop asking God to save the Queen! Ask the Queen to pay back the money She stole from Saint Lucia and the African Slave trade; money she is now flaunting in your faces – you in the “kai Galvanize” and she in the Palace with your money.

ACP Henry needs to stop acting like the men and women in the RSLPF are the most helpful, concerned and sympathetic bunch you can find anywhere. Whatever reputation St. Lucia is receiving overseas is a result of the many negative encounters tourists have had with some of your lazy, foul mouthed unhelpful, disrespectful "officers"

Great Job, ACP, Frances Henry. You are where you ought to have been long ago. You shall be Saint Lucia's first female Police Commissioner.

Thank you for representing St. Lucia so outstandingly. I'm loving it!
