Well written and to the point. I have seen these behaviours by the athorities, I am sorry to say the police are the worst examples as I have seen them parked in uniform drinking beers, so thats the example set. This is a country with out rules or boundaries, very few people obey the law not even the law makers, or enforcers, so whilst you are right to be concerned their is no visible evidence that anyone else is. Anything that is done is likely to be tokenistic. I don't trust the police to be fair or just, they tend do have a 'mates' attitude to crime, if they don't like you innocent or guilty they will lie about you in court often under the letcherous eyes of the magistrate, whose only thoughts is to flirt with the policeperson, to get a conviction. St Lucia you have a lot of work to do, it will take years to change this distgusting mentallity but change you must otherwise going to church and pretending to be a christian won't work with the big man, so its hell for most of you.

Wow, foods for thoughts!

Well researched and written. Every single word is the truth. Like you Murray, I am amazed how the police and authorities allows that vendor to ply her wares RIGHT UNDER THE SIGN that reads "No Vending"!! But then, the police here in St Lucia is nothing but a BIG JOKE - not to be taken seriously!

Yes Indeed they are A BIG JOKE. ST LUCIA HAS NO REAL POLICE. THEY ARE JUST MEN AND WOMEN IN UNIFORM FORMING THE FOOL. SO MANY YOUNG COPS IN THE FORCE. DO THEY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT POLICING NO THEY DONT.
