With our mulatto PM who trembles in his boots each and every time he sees his "superior", a Whitie, and knows absolutely nothing more about business or economics other than what the law has to say about it, we in Saint Lucia are in sh-t street and in deep doo-doo already.
JAMAICA is the very last country any one would want to follow.
When that Country got sick in the early 1980's, the IMF gave them medicine; and up to today, they ain't get well yet.
No thank you, we do not want anything coming from JAMAICA.
With all their intellectualsd/academicians; their citizens on average are RUNNING from Jamaica; doing want the dogs would do, in other peoples countries.
They have left very bad impressions in every country they reside. As a Caribbean person, I for one, do not want to be associated with them.
An inciteful article, but the very first comment spoken like a true flambeau who's poster boy leader is a high school guy, who did not even perform credibly at CXC. So of course you will get personal. I trust that since you took time to read the article, you will extract some points and break it down for your 9th grader leader of the opposition. Ofcourse the IMF already smelling blood, that is the blood from the mysterious illness of Monrose and his kabal. I say we all go down, thank God I am a legal alien, I can still get a few white people toilet to clean
The issue is and will never be Monrose. The real issue to be faced squarely in the face is that Governments have WASTED loads of taxpayers money, believing that it comes from the sea, or some fantasyland, and forgetting the money in the Treasury comes from our pockets, which they continue to reap off, day after day, now VAT, only for dem Politicians to go on living "on the hog". Like Kings in a palace at our expense.
Wasting monies on their friends in the guise of consultants and advisors as political payback favors; and the least goes on.
People are just getting angrier and angrier, and I smell something going to give. Crime will increase by leaps and bounds.

A complete dark hole is Jamaica.
