There can be absolutely nothing good coming from the Caribbean Court Of Justice. Those who have promulgated this BEAST, called the CCJ. give as one of the key rationale, that we should no longer use the Privy Council which is colonial and British and belonging to the "White'
former masters etc. etc.

But the FACT is we in these Caribbean islands, and in particular, I speak with reference to St. Lucia, we can TRUST those former Colonial folks far better; than our own black supposed brothers who come into disguise as our leaders/politicians.

We are suffering much more under these politicians than we ever did under British rule.

In fact our own "so-called black brothers/politicians" treat us like dogs. Disappointingly so.

Under them there is great injustice, corruption at its highest. They even attempt, to infiltrate the Judiciary.We just have no trust in them. Absolutely no confidence in them.

At least with the British, people got where they got, based on their own merit. But not so at all; with our so-called black brothers and sisters.

Removing the Privy Council; as our Last Resort for JUSTICE; is like placing each of us in a dark tunnel; covered with asphalt for one million years.

We as a people cannot allow this alienable right to be taken from us. KENNY ANTHONY BE DAMNED!

We as a people must vote in a Referendum for any such thing to take place.

Already we see the wrecklessness that our Politicians do. We see their blatant DISHONESTY and CORRUPTION; done in bright day-light. They no longer night in the darkness of the night.

Our Politicians prove to us; day by day; that they have no VALUES. They demonstrate ever day to us that they have NO CONSCIENCE; and that they behave more like ANIMALS than human beings.

No Government, whether SLP or UWP have any right to abolish the PRIVY COUNCIL; unless in this "DEMOCRACY", that is whatever is left of it; WE THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE AGREE. And even so; because of the majority being semi-literate; do they really understand the evil that can befall us as a people; as it relates to JUSTICE and OUR RIGHTS being protected if we ABOLISH the PRIVY COUNCIL?

The ordinary man needs to be told exactly what is going on; and it obviously won't be the Government nor the Bar Association who is in bed with the Government to do this.

Therefore, the blasted Opposition Party must get off their behinds and educate the masses; using the Professionals which they have at their disposal.

Ermin, your article is way above the noise that we have been hearing on this matter.Now take your argument to the schools,churches and community centers. Inform the people; don't allow the demagogues to succeed!
