An ‘Un-holy’ Alliance Revisited!

I like the fact that Allen was a student of the 'good' politics of George Odlum. I do not think that Allen is as extreme as Kenny but I'm also afraid of him being too much on the side of businesses. I do think or hope that he is well balanced, centered, not too left, not too right.
We are looking for a fiscally conservative, socially progressive leader for Saint Lucia. The search for that employee is now on!

Sorry, what is Allen offering? Right now I don't know. Fiscally conservative or trickle down economic?

Socially progressive? or a return to rule by the wealthy?

Think man think?

King is too bendable (or 'malleable' if you'd like to avoid the pun). He appears to be a genuine nice guy, but the St Lucian public needs more than that in a leader.

Leaders must be decisive, tactical, smart, credible, empathetic, innovative and efficient. Leaders must generate greater buy-in from not only their party faithful but the wider population. Leaders must command respect--enough to keep errant members of their team in check. That requires backbone, something slinky politicians lack.

If a leader is overly dependent on the advice of others, he becomes a figurehead. Politicians who rely on the wannabe Puppet Master for counsel are rendered putty. Yes, putty in the hands of a sideliner who is by nature discordant, and thrives off criticism and controversy. That which the wannabe Puppet Master builds, he inevitably destroys.

Whoever controls the foods; controls the people.

Already, they, The Chastanets', 'control' over 80% or have a monopoly of foods and food products on the island.

God forbid he, Allen Chastanet, ever become Prime Minister of St Lucia.

Oh, why the hush-hush about GL Food Market. Who is the owner? No commentary on that one?

Your thought process is really undesirable and weak...no wonder in the 79-82 period your actions and the decision that were taken was dam -stupid and reckless.

We were mere teenagers then in the struggle and could not vote then - and were used and abuse - now we are grown men and women.Go rest with your slavesh support for Allan.

Soufriere could not be recolonize, by ALLAN and the Friend of Soufriere - TOM CHOW and all their "questionable money" and SLU will not be RE -ENSLAVED to Allan, you and the unholy alliance. Not now -Never!!!

The ignorance which exists in the UWP today is a guarantee victory for Kenny Anthony’s communist party in the next general elections. Just remember in the US the Republican party (GOP) super-packs spent in excess of $300 million dollars battling Barack Obama end results they came up short, Obama is still president today. To all those willing to sell their soul and their votes for a free hotel room, a free meal, and a few lousy bucks from the light skinned man who can’t even communicate in the Creole language far-less understand the culture of the poor St. Lucians, stop and think the damage you are about to inflict on your country for the next ten years or more.

Blogger at 9:20 am if you don't like Josie's articles, DON'T READ THEM and shut the hell up!!

Last time I check, St Lucia appeared to be a "so called" free country, why are you asking the blogger to "shut the hell up?"

Can't he voiced his opinions and viewpoints, like you.

I tend to agree with the you are being disrespectful to.

When Peter Josie was in power and had the opportunity to effect change, he did absolutely nothing. All what he was interested in then, was Libya.

Now that he is powerless and useless, he writes crap after dreadful crap to the annoyance of most, but a few like himself, who delight and wallow in his craps (like you) above.

Sorry, third paragraph was intended to be deleted...my apologies (as it's incoherent).

Peter Josie is try to get some free groceries. This is how low some St. Lucians will go!!!

I havn't read anything disparaging in regards to Allen Chasnet's qualifications,.....seem that the critics don't want to go there! But this is the paramount question, isn't it? When I look at the thousands of young people in St.lucia today,I'm thinking :who is best qualified to creat the enviroment for them to become productive citizens. And this means that feeble-minded reprobates need not apply!!

Unholy reliance on singing for one's supper. Is there anything else that can help?

Qualification even if it's relevant ALONE does NOT cut it. People with credentials alone do not guarantee success when they make up their minds. See how immature some of our greying old politicians are? They have no wisdom to go with it. Yes, they have grey beards and grey hair, but are as stupid and obtuse as four-legged jackasses.

Blogger at 7:14 PM, you are a genius!!! You have read the dirty, slimy, beggardly tricks in Josie's singing to Chastanet. Like you say, all Josie is doing there is simply trying "to get some free groceries" from Julian's Mall. He cannot be productively employed ANYWHERE, that pretending bastard. That's all the SUCKER can do these days: grovel, sing, squint and beg without shame, at Chastanet's table, now that Richard Frederick has DROPPED him like the soggy, slimy potato that he is. Oh how Carol, Beverly and his New York bum, must be squirming in sad and grave discomfort. Josie, paps, ou tombay BIEN BA.

I do not think that Peter should get the amount of abuse that is being dished out. He is entitled to his opinion. Allen has the right to stands if he so wishes. However I think Allen as PM would be a bigger disaster than hurricane Tomas. What Josie should do is write an article explaining why Allen is the best Prime Minister we never had. "not a credible witness" rings any bells?

Do you remember the time when Allen spoke about the lack of opportunities for young ST. Lucians, when he spoke of the need for more competition in business, the need to train our young people, for a higher standard of living for all, the need to tighten our belt in times of hardships, the right to access to our beaches. Do you? remember
ME NEITHER

Good lets start the debate, lets start a "Get Allen Elected" campaign. First we want him to have a seat in Parliament before the next general election. Would one of you current sitting UWP Members of Parliament, give up your seat. We need a by election, next year....or before. We will start a fund to raise money on your behalf for your generosity. Yes it will be in the region of Twain money terms. Your millions is safe. No unsolicited donations from Papa.

Then at the next election, whether our boy is the leader or not, does not matter. We will ensure that King looses. The test will be only candidates with GCEs can run for Parliament,so bye bye Guy Joseph as well. Poodles not allowed. Allen!!!! Allen!!!! Allen!!!!.
