Maybe he went for cancer treatment as Chavez did. Anyway, there is a difference between Head of State (The Queen) and Head of Government (the PM).
Yes! The Prime Minister has goofed. It's becoming a trade mark. He either does not care or he is too steep in foreign ideas. Perhaps he is sick and the trip became mandatory.
Phillip Pierre takes minutes to utter one word, far less one sentence. He certainly was not any worthwhile representative for St. Lucia. These fellars are a bloody waste of time, a damn disgrace for St. Lucia and they all stink to high heaven.
Its time they are all dumped out of Government. I for one really cannot wait.
Pierre did not have the gonads to let Kenny know that he is not the best or most suitable to attend that meeting. He is not bright and has a serious speech impediment; which is a total turn-off to try listening to him.
Not one of Kenny Anthony's hench-men in his Cabinet could have told him that he is making himself out to be "trash"?.
It is significant that the Devaux's sold M&C and all their business a couple of years ago. NO FUTURE! A government must have at least a prime minister and a minister of economic affairs who are successful businessmen. Look at Panama. Allen Chastenet is a business man. But he is white and that is the stupidity why
the locals do not like him. This government has no plan at all. The Kimg's government was even worse.
If Allen Chastanet is such a good "businessman", as you put it; why isn't he helping his father run his supermarket chain and other businesses?
His father have seen the flaws in him and is keeping him miles away from having to do anything with his supermarkets, mini marts, etal.
As you rightfully put it, yes, St Lucia do not want any white slave masters. And we recognize that; he will never (never say never, but in this case I am absolute) be PM here.
Barack Obama is black and most of the neocons, if not all, and the red states do not like him - so what is wrong in us, St Lucians, not liking a White Slave master to be the PM of St Lucia?
We have had enough of the Massa and light skinned types as PM on this God forsaken idiot place called St Lucia...time for a real black man, with leadership qualities, foresight, empathy to lead. I am sure there is such a person either here on the island or from the diaspora who could assumed the PMship of this place...

Pierre, is a qualified and experienced Economist and Business Consultant, and is BY FAR better qualified to represent St. Lucia on matters of energy, trade, investment, finance, and economic development, than the teacher turned lawyer, Kenny Anthony. This would have been your explanation, Ozzie Boy, you HYPOCRITE. N.
Diplomatic immaturity finds apologists. Picture this in a report after Bridgetown scours and trawls our newspaper clippings and the transcripts of our radio and TV broadcasts. Just the kind of harmless but routine secondary sources of information collected by US embassy there.
And I don't find that the deputy PM has such a damaging speech impairment, as suggested in some quarters, either.
