Was the drug baron operating from within the UWP Cabinet implicated, that is why we are afraid to open this can of worms regarding that police officer?

Why can't the present administration open the file they have on R.F. and get rid of this stain on the face of this country.

Imagine the UWP's so-called new leader was part of that Banana Republic cabinet Latin American style.

At last!! We have a proper picture of the old man.

Funny you don't look anything like that touch up version your PR puts out.

Yes,I can see on the picture our prime minister is a BLACK man.

No wonder this country is so backward; look at the silly childish comments posted above.
Here you have an opportunity to voice your opinion on many matters affecting life on the Island, yet you comment an racial and political affiliation. You dummies will never learn.

Amen above. Nothing of substance or importance from some bloggers. Perhaps, there is wealth inequality in St Lucia, but I do not condone those racists and ignorant comments.

I will not vote Chastanet because a vote for him is only a vote to enrich himself and his family fortune. Nothing else.

Equality of wealth is not an ideal either. That is very much communist thinking. Even when the communists espouse this philosophy by words only, it is not achievable and the elites there, just as those in Saint Lucia grab all they can.

Right now, we have one member of that elite, an imposter, fighting tooth and nail, looking to further his father's monopoly business and hoping to get in the meantime, on the backs of a very gullible exploited population, a free ride and an easy pension.

Mohammed Saeed al-Sahhaf aka’s Baghdad Bob, Comical Ali, former Iraqi diplomat and politician.

He came to wide prominence around the world during the 2003 invasion of Iraq, during which he was the Iraqi Information Minister under Iraqi president Saddam Hussein, acting as the spokesperson for the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party and Saddam's regime.

He is best known for his grandiose and grossly unrealistic propaganda broadcasts before and during the war, extolling the invincibility of the Iraqi Army and the permanence of Saddam's rule.

His announcements were intended for an Iraqi domestic audience subject to Saddam's cult of personality and total state censorship, and were met with widespread derision and amusement by Western nationals and others with access to up-to-date information from international media organizations. In the US he was popularly known as Baghdad Bob, in the UK as Comical Ali, and in Italy as Alì IL Comico.

St Lucia's Prime Minister Kenney Anthony in his address to the island nation on August 20, 2013 on the matter of US policy towards “extra-judicial killings,” by members of the St. Lucia Royal Police Force and the reasons why his Police Commissioner was denied boarding on a US bound flight a week ago stole a chapter right out of Baghdad Bob’s propaganda manuscript.

I am sure every one on the 238 sq mile rock and around the world will come to realized how they have been misled by the PM as to what is really cooking between the Kenney Antony’s Administration and Washington DC. I encourage all readers to stay tune the next shoe is about to drop!!!

Kenny is still afraid to expose that the extra-judicial killings were aligned with the drug industry.

Anonymous said...

In other countries it is not unusual for their nasties to conduct their illegal narcotics business from behind prison walls. In Saint Lucia, that was being done from right within the Cabinet of the Government of Saint Lucia.

@ Aug.21,2013 at 1:31 pm.

Are you inferring that Kenny may be the next one to be banned from entering the U.S.?
Yes, but not while he is currently the Prime Minister of St.Lucia. Let him keep romancing the Castro brothers and flirting with the Dictators in Latin America.
(better sleepless nights ahead)

Indeed Better Sleepless Nights ahead!!!

remember when in 2003 when Kenny said leave my boys alone now in 2013 and now he can't not say a word

In 2011 after elections the then PM Kenny Anthony appointed Sarah Flood Beaubrun as the Minister of Home Affairs but unusually the portfolio of the Royal St. Lucia Police Force was removed from that Ministry.
Why?
Because influencial party hacks were linked to the SLP(just as today) and they did not want SFB to 'interfer' in the ongoing cacanez going on in that organization or clean it up. The Slp have a lot to do with the continued lack of internal security in our country and it will continue for years to come. The corruption is much deeper than you realize.

Sick Saint Lucian society.

It is clear that the drug trade and the police force are interconnected.
The St. Lucia Labour Party for years has protected some of the worst rogues in the police force.

There is nothing in terms of economic policy, internal security plicy, education policy, social policy coming uot of this government that makes any difference.

THEY ARE A MAJOR PART OF THE PROBLEM.

Anonymous said...

The buzz around DC and Bridgetown is that two of Kenney Anthony's cabinet members can no longer travel to the US.

Anonymous said...

Some members of the police force have served both this government and the last one, a caricature passing for a government. Some of us know that a certain drug baron operated from right within that last UWP cabinet with enforcers on the outside. Some people even had contracts on their heads. Some were killed in broad daylight on the streets.

Today, we are at it again, rewarding known miscreants, even going as far as giving them our blessings with higher profiles in our parties. We stubbornly refuse to employ a moral compass when selecting our representatives.

Drug barons, crooks, and liars under oath, all well-known to us are embraced and celebrated. We sow the wind and reap the whirlwind. The chickens are coming home to roost.

The truth, and nothing but the truth will come out.

Obviously someone in Government is providing vital information to certain sources.

Mi roro!

August 21 at 1.31PM you are right on target. Many of us know what is going on. We are not fooled.

There is neither respect nor confidence by external governments in Kenny Anthony's government.

The private sector is aware of this; investments are nil and will continue to be.

The business sector are very concerned about the turn of events in the country. Talks are behind closed doors in hushed silence.

Kenny Anthony is much to blame for much of what is wrong in the Police Force.

Is a person or persons in the current Cabinet averse to Kenny Anthony. Where is the evidence Kenny and La Corbiniere said they had on Frederick. Why has Frederick not been arrested.

SAR-WAT-LA-CAR-DEE-LER-E-EN-FAY-TAY-KAY- SAY-PAR-SAR-E-CAR-DEE-LEH-E-EN-TERRE.

What the rat says when it is on the ceiling; is not what it says, when it is on the ground.

The truth will not be conquered. Film at 11.

Anonymous said...

Kenny looks like the man on the Alzheimer's ad.

The rat is being destroyed.

Vengeance is mine, saith the Lord. I will repay.

And by the way, where is Terrence Leonard or is it Leonard Terrence?

The truth, and nothing but the truth; will now be known.

Anonymous said...

Kenny Anthony is a miserably failed politician. And he is hell-bent; wittingly or unwittingly, to get St. Lucia as a failed state.

Don't we Lucians smell a RAT? Not even Jamaica or Guyana with all the wretchedness of crime; have found themselves in the sorry state our country is in.

Why have not the public and private employees shut down the country; forcing Kenny Anthony to go; as was done in 1981?

The problem is not the Police. The problem is Kenny with Castro, Iran and ALBA.

Dragging St. Lucia down the drain. Where are the tourists from Iran and Cuba? How many came last year and to date in 2013.

Kenny is a complete arse and a waste of time. A big lose; and a damn disgrace.

The worst leader we ever had to lead a government. You can take the pig out of the mud; but you cannot take the mud out of the pig.
