Arrivals is just part of the picture. Can this administration tell the nation what in quantitative terms is the contribution to GDP percentage-wise or in dollar figures?
What is the person in the street to take from all this? Is it that more people came to him or her?
10:28 so the government have to spoonfeed every man and woman on the streets? They also have to push their hands in the visitors pockets and give them the contents? If we nothing good to say, why don't we just keep QUIET.
@12:53, did anyone say anything about spoon-feeding anybody up there? I did not read that. The most direct benefits goes to the hotels with a reduced VAT and tax holidays. The top-level jobs salaries and benefits go to the managers. The all-inclusive plants are another group.
Mainly our most ignorant people are the ones easily fooled by just plain numbers. It has been said, that there are lies, damned lies and statistics.
