We need competent engineers from foreign sources (US, TAIWAN) if necessary to channel the water rushing out of the mountains.

...Indeed, above, logical suggestion. We need, as well, to be sensitized and DO NOT THROW rubbish, empty plastic bottles, et al, INDISCRIMINATELY.

I thought we learnt from Hurricane Tomas. Alas!

We have NOT even properly taken care of the aftermath of Tomas as yet!

We as a people are just too lazy, too lackadaisical, too last-minute, and too unprofessional especially, about how we should run and conduct our business as an independent country.

Just too many god damn fools are elected into government. Just too few people of substance are positioned there.

Why are we always scraping the bottom of the darn barrel when it comes to electing people into political office?

Where are our educated women, when the males are failing so damn miserably, and so darn regularly in leadership positions?

I cry for my country. Let us put our heads together; love each other; and help each other as St. Lucians.

Let us focus on making each other the best they can be.

Stop denigrating each other. The entire country could have been demolished and hundreds could have perished.

Let us remember that there is truly a GREATER POWER than anyone or anything on earth.

I hear your cry. Remember people there is death in our midst.
