Just more murder? In Hobbesian terms, is life becoming altogether "poor, nasty, brutish and short"?

I am appealing to all st lucians to pray and kick the devil out of the island
Let the love of Christ remain in st Lucia amongst everyone,
To those of you who go to church ask ur pastor for olive oil it must be bless by a pastor then you use that oil to anointed your home and ur kids.
It is time we as a people come together in prayer and destroy the works of the devil
My love gose out to the families who lost they love ones, peace be with u all amen

This country is turning out to be "CANNIBALISTIC". Uncivilized, deadly, AND NO PLACE FOR ANYONE TO WANT TO BE.

The GOVERNMENT is a bloody WASTE OF TIME. Crime goes unabated. The Government is only concerned about getting rich for themselves and friends. All significant legal are given to family members.

St. Lucia is fast becooming a FAILED STATE.

All significant legal contracts are dished out to family members.

What do you folks expect; when the government of this country positions it towards RUSSIA, CUBA, IRAQ etc.?

Vieux Fortians must stop repeating the jackass statement that God sent them a white man to represent and take care of them. Can you see where this crap talk is taking all of us?

Those card carrying members of the SLP are just too timid, too stupid and base to reverse their obnoxious decision to make that one their party leader for life. What an ignorant unsophisticated lot Saint Lucians really are.

Bloody mess.

The police is not doing enough to Reid the island of the drugs and guns
As some of them are so corrupt and get paid by the drug dealers.
The major problem in stlucia is that the drugs have taken over
As u Will see in some communities the young men without work are all just standing on the block smoking or taken they drugs or sometimes they stay on the block late at night check out marchand road by branford. This young men should be home watching television, not on the block smoking drugs
It only show that there is a lack of discipline on the island

An Ugliness Befalls Helen
====================

"The National Newspaper" shouts "Three Homicides Reported this Week!!!!" I swear, I almost thought it was proud boast. Among them a young man who held much promise for a great future, perhaps one from which the entire country could have benefitted, according to numerous reports.
A father protecting his petrified daughter from being dragged out of his home by a crazed cave man. Executed. Have gun, will fire.

Our country got the moniker "Helen of the West" because of it's unmatched beauty so to use the word ugliness when speaking of Helen is nonesencical one can rightfully argue.

Saint Lucia is a magical place. Majestic pitons and other wonders. An oasis of calm and tranquility surrounded by pure waters of azure and sands of gold and silver. Nobel marvels and icons like Apillo. I bean with pride though beautiful descriptive words fail me when I answer: "What country you come from?"

Sadly ugliness and evil lurk in the midst of such beauty. So unbecoming. So inapplicable. Such inexplicable condradiction. It's ugly on our city's streets, in our towns, villages, and hamlets.
Gunfire, razor sharp knives. Slash, slay, butcher.

The light of day no longer a deterrent. No consequences to equal the dastardly deeds. No hanging so what? Three squares and a cot for as long as they say. That guy remains dead, that young lady still well raped, that dude maimed for life.

"F... the police!" seem to be the miscreants motto. "F... the s..t!!" the attitude of the over worked, inundated rookie.
Leadership, zeal, equipment, and training all lacking. "No transport.", "What do you want me to do?" The courts don't work anyway. What gives?

Depravity, lamentably, is part of the human condition. We can neither police nor legislate the hearts and minds of men to be humane. Each society has its share of rotten scoundrels. Nature's folly. Subhuman, lacking emotion, animalistic.
We never know when they will act out their depravity so we're all sitting ducks. It could be me, it could be you, your mama, your son, your neighbour, your wife, or daughter. Victims, potentially that's who we are.

So we need cops on the streets, in civies, in khaki too. Stern, authoratitive, willing, and able. Jack 'em up. Lock 'em up. Some for good. For the good lof Ole Helen.
