Corruption.
Corruption in high office.
Corruption in the civil service.
Corruption is the mindset of the general populace.
Research proves that corruption stifles jobs and growth.
For those who do not understand let me put it in plain English.

" When yu tief at work or do a borbol in a govt contract or get a cacadan from doing nothing for a monee from STEP- dat is the corruption multiplied 10,000 times in St Lucia dat killing yu life!"
It is SLP and UWP legislated CORRUPTION that you all now accept as normal.

It is guaranteeing that this country cannot get any better. It guarantees that you cannot get jobs because business cannot grow.

When will you all wake up!

Let me brush out some of the sand from some of the orifices in your head. That stuck in your hair is a little harder to get out. After all you have had your head buried the sand for quite a long while. Maybe it's been so for all of your life.

Now go on. Talk with greater realism. You should begin to make a little more sense.

Carlton, I am a proud UWP and Labour supporter. I vote each elections based on the performance of the Party in Power. I refuse to be a blind RED or YELLOW jackass. I will admit that Labour is not doing as good a job as they had promised. For one thing, Kenny bluffed us on the 100 MILLION DOLLARS he said he was going to inject into the economy after elections 2011. It has been proven now that he LIED like HELL! And bet your bottom dollar, he will PAY for this lie. Now, I will personally not tolerate Labour government Ministers being involved in the extortion of foreign investors, begging for cuts under the table. That nasty habit we were told was being practiced by some former UWP ministers. So, Carlton, let me quote what you said: "Based on the investigation of the present government into the past government’s performance, I was of the impression that misappropriation of funds or to put it crudely bobol, was mainly a thing that the opposition parliamentarians were involved in, but to my amusement it seems that both parties have persons that are doing the same thing, not only as Ministers of government, but there are also high profile employees in positions in the service of our government, who make it their duty to solicit perks before they can commit their services or help." Carlton, from what you are saying above there, you are implying very clearly that there are "Ministers of Government" who are involved in begging or extorting money from prospective foreign investors. Now this is a serious accusation. So, I ask you, as the serious St. Lucian you say you are, to share your information with Dr. Anthony, and the Leader of the opposition, on who those crooked Ministers are. We must move to a new level in St. Lucia, and STOP just running our mouths off and printing accusations in the Press, then just staying silent, while the bloggers have a feast. I want to take your writing seriously, so I am asking you to provide the information to Kenny Anthony and the UWP Leader. If you refuse to do so, then I will have to conclude that you are only running off your mouth. The ball is in your court. I will now send this blog to Kenny Anthony and the LOO, and advise them that you will be providing that very important information to them. Like I said, the ball is in your court, and I will be following up with you on the matter, because I see you almost every day. Prove that you are serious, and that you know what you are talking about. CONCERNED LUCIAN VOTER.

Backhanders need to be outlawed and punished. But the government breaks the constitution frequently by to having the accounts audited. Everyone knows that it goes on but as long as people don't see it punished severely they turn a blind eye. You can't trust elected reps to manage money transparently, it needs to be enforced on them by process.

A second issue is what foreign investment are they chasing. Is danger when politicians and international business start mixing. They just end up doing deals, like selling off land, letting workers in, selling off the seabed.

In Saint Lucia, the desensitized moronic population always votes for a large majority of idiots, crooks, slime-balls and veritable POS to take charge of the public purse. They love to put the fox to guard, and to be in charge of the chicken house. The majority of Looshans are such complete jackasses. Do you see the mess they have put us in today?

Carlton,

I happen to be one of the individuals who took notice of your sabbatical. You have left lasting impressions upon my mind, like your description of the big-butt women riding motor cycles, or the people who climb over each other like Crabs on Jeremie Street, being recalled at the mention of your name.

But Carlton, this article is so hypocritical that it begs the question, are you one of the bobbol people? you have castigated the civil servants, the police, the ministers of Government, accusing them of bobbol, but you cannot mention ONE name? Don't you want to save the Economy and bring Jobs to our Island State? Or are you down with the bobbol?

Carlton if I had evidence that Guy Joseph was hiding Hurricane Relief in the she behind his brother's house I would call it like I saw it, so what the hell is your problem? are you afraid of Claudius' Lajijit mouth? what is your problem Carlton?

This Crap that your are so busy, rendering you unable to take a piss, and therefore you wear Pampas is simply not credible. Is it Kenny? Allen? Rigobert? who are these bobbolist in Lucia preventing jobs from coming to Castries?

If you love this country like you say, you should not keep the names of these criminals a secret because you are afraid; don't worry I will protect you, but you must come clean, alright Carl?

From the time as was in short pants I was hearing about borbol here and borbol there. People were getting huge chor-chots because of all this ingrained crookedness.

Now, Carlton wants us to believe that all the perps, some who should be in prison all like now, are to be found on just one side of the political fence? My my!

All we have been witnessing with ALL the changes in governments, with the SAME party or with another party in majority, is just another set of borbolists wearing a different party colour. That's all.

Especially when the borbol is done by someone with a khaki colour or lighter, hear the country-bookies infuriate me with their usual "Key taye Missiay ---- bat mizerre".

Do you need a god damn lobotomy, or is it that you just had one during the hiatus?

Son of Man said "If you love this country like you say, you should not keep the names of these criminals a secret because you are afraid..". Thank you brother for taking Carlton to task. If he has such important information he should release it in the interest of St. Lucia. I'm taking his article and this blog to PM Anthony and the Leader of the opposition tomorrow. Carlton must do the right thing and prove that he's not just playing games. Then if he does not quickly drop the information to the PUBLIC, I'll be checking him out personally. "CONCERNED SAINT LUCIAN VOTER", and "Son Of man", I share your feelings on this matter. But not only Ministers are being accused here by Mr. Ishmael. He is also saying that Civil Servants are also demanding and accepting bribes. As a former Civil Servant, I wish to suggest that Mr. Ishmael also has a responsibility to say to the authorities, who those crooked Civil Servants are. Peter Lansiquot.
