You should have done research on the history of RCI before you wrote the story...This shows what kind of reporter you are...You've been missing out on a whole lotta stuff..Thats what i have learned about you and this is also what you missed out in your second story about what you learned about yourself..and you did not get the missing info from one source....cause you mentioned you got many feedbacks. what's up?
Do you think your friend Tim should get you out of the dark? Seems like you feel comfortable there for your second story is as mixed up as the first. Instead of depending on a friend who you mentioned evidently knows RCI better than you and using feedbacks from readers, why didn't you get off your rear and go to the station right here in the city and get information from the RCI people; yet many years ago you walked all the way to the Vigie Peninsular because of your curiosity. Did you interview Tom Foster and other veteran RCI players who has the most knowlege of RCI"s St Lucia operations? I'll comclude by saying the project was a good one but the reporter lacked curiosity and is lethargic.
I dont think its necessary to get personal. Frankly, its not Earl's fault that "we" have not documented the history of progress (or development) of radio in St. Lucia. Any shortcomings in Earl's articles points to the need for us to put our broadcasting history in print. Too many of us have "insider" information and emotional baggage about RCI. What we need is someone to bell the cat and do the right thing - write the true and proven history of media in St. Lucia.

Are you people mad? Or are you just too idle?
I think it's both. Idleness can lead to madness...and I know what I'm talking about.
