This is what happen when you try to be smarter than the "Crook"... Sandals has many islands in their pocket, bring sun or rain over their respective employement datas, and claiming false economic returns to the "locals". One must look around and wonder... Chastanet JR and Sandals, quite a long mariage (the only one known to last for C. JR...)Why in haven's name one would dare to challenge the SANDALS...?
I would say, based on what Saint Lucia and other islands look like on North American TV, Sandals shows happy White fellows receiving services from smilling freindly balck people, dressed in uniforms and always happy. Why would anyone need new marketing efforts? Keep selling this, we all think it work in the North America. They all dream here of having smilling black people serve them.
In the meantime, Kenny and co may be a good solution for this dying economy and clueless marketing strategies. They did not do sobad in their time... 9/11 was during Kenny's mandate. What did they do then...?
Try re-writing that when you are not drunk and can formulate coherent thoughts. Maybe we will understand what you are trying to say.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Taiwan during these trying times. We in St.Lucia know too well what cyclones are like and the destruction they bring.
I agree, That was a load of crap from the first blogger. However the writer must feel or whatever state of mind he is in, doesn't he realize Sandals is the innocent party in this matter? It was Government that approached Sandals to do a joint marketing program. Sandals decided to go it alone when all the fuss began. What did Sandals do wrong here? Just see how the blogger went out of his way to make the link to Kenny and SLP. Ah, but wasn't it Kenny and Co that were responsible Butch Stewart getting Sandals Grande at a bargain price that did not include the millions of taxpayers money pumped into Rochamel. Let him put that in his bottle and drink it.
