Does anyone know the overall cost of the furniture? Or better yet what is the customs duty on the furniture? Will lucians demonstrate for duties which may as well amount to less than $5000? What exactly is on trial here morals or the legal process? If I were to take cue from the general hype it would appear that a law was broken which is definitely not the case. Just asking to get a better understanding because I am lost.

If this demonstration is Kenny's idea of removing a one sided government to eventually reelect another one sided government, then he can kiss my rear end. This country have seen enough of one sided governments.

JANE, explain to us what you meant by that? Nobody is saying Kenny did not make mistakes, as ALL government will make, please show me a government anywhere the world that is perfect. What we are saying is this government is creating on mistakes and scandals after scandals and the country cannot afford that any more and little good is coming from them, that is not what we are paying for. We do not deserve that, kenny was bad but any blind person can see that he was 100% butter than what we have now passing as government. I think Kenny can only be better because he will learn from his mistakes.

I won't waste my time going to that crap. I got better things to do.

If cannot see that the crap is this government we now have in St Lucia, then you do not have anything good thing to do.

What I mean is that I refuse to march to make room for another bunch of hungry politicians. You can paint the sky blue with all of your pro Kenny logics, but every young person know that once you vote to elect Kenny you have also voted to elect even the boyz that did not fight a single election.

I can name you or offer to you a long list of boyz in wait for jobs. Since the SLP lost power they are virtually staving. I refuse to allow them another try at the expense of the country. You want me to vote for Kenny, tell Kenny to offer me something new.

There is nothing to indicate to a young persons like myself that Kenny has changed. On one hand you have the UWPs who are busy securing jobs for the boyz and on the other is Kenny with his group waiting to reap the harvest of discontent in the country.

As a young person I want a St Lucia that is less red and less yellow. I want a St Lucia where equality and respect is what governments employ to get the country moving.

I don't want you to tell me how good Kenny was or is. The proof is in the pudding. Why is that the government is doing so bad but it's only one group of people calling for change.

Look around you the next time the call for change come and you will recognise that they are the same old farts all dressed in red with a personal agenda.

JANE, if you are so afraid of people getting jobs if kenny get elected, then the country should stay without a government because you logics does not make any sense. Any government that is elected will give their people employment. What we want is a government that is working, and developing the country as Kenny had started. If people are starving in the country as you said, that only goes to show us how badly the government is running the country, because people have the right to work in their country. If somebody is living in St Lucia and is not complaining about what is going on in the country, they are very BIAS. If you feel this government is doing so well, and is one set of people complaining, then they should call an election now, and we will all see who will win.

This is exactly what I have a problem with. Are you one of those in line for employment? Is this how it works? We remove the present government to allow you your chance at making easy money.

Why didn't you say that the next government that comes to office should employ its people based on merit. Why does it have to be their people?

This is exact why everything in the country is based on politics. Give me a better reply than this head stuck in sand one.

Give me merit not more politics.

St Lucians have always complained about everything ever since white people brought them to the West Indies. What's your point? It's not as if people were not complaining when Kenny was in office.

Don't you know that we can never be satisfied as long as people like you are lining up for a job because you believe one day your party is going to be in charge?

How can you expect any young person to be happy when we already know what's on your mind.

Wake me up when the DEMONSTRATION IS OVER.

Can we have some serious political discourse here and not all the back and forth between Red Hack and Yellow Hack.

This sounds very much like what we hear on a street corner in any St. Lucian village. It's like you take it from the street corner and carry to the message board.

That is counter productive. You cannot win over a UWP hack or a Labour hack. In any case it is the growing numbers of independent free thinkers who do not depend on the government for their daily life the hold the balance of power in any election in St. Lucia.

Lucia Boy

This is what both of those jokers fail to acknowledge. Those who really hold the balance of power are neither red nor yellow!

So the St. Lucia Labour Party political wannabees disguised as this organization or that, decide to join their compatriot Kenny Anthony in a political demonstration against an Administration that they have all fought against from Day 1.

So what is new ?

What organization is this?
