You know why America has a two term limit for Presidents? To prevent it from ever becoming a dictatorship state. Castro, Kim Jong Il on the other hand can be presidents for life if they chose to.

Instead josie ask Kenny why has he slipped. Why can't he ask himself that same question, i remembered him as a political giant in St Lucia once. What has happened to him? I think Kenny is in a much better position than him, and he is envy of that.

It seem Josie prefer Kenny more than himself, asking how comes his supporting is sliding, because i can remember the last time Josie ran in Marchand, where he was once so strong, he lost his deposit. Let him worry about Kenny our next PM.

How can we use countries Cuba and China to us in St Lucia? These countries do not have elections, if a leader is becoming a dictator, all we have to do is vote him out, just as we did to Compton. More that two terms does not means we will become dictatorship state.

The gambler comes to mind, it is time for Kenny to fold or he will lead the SLP to defeat.

Changing the constitution was a warning sign and St.Lucians are smart, that's why they didn't elect him again. Too much power corrupts.

Peter thanks for this brillient piece of writing. The writing is on the wall and it doesn't look good for Kenny.

I would rather throw away my vote than to cast it for the return of this fool.

Who will we vote in the next election?

We'll have to wait for new leaders and then we'll decide.

Peter Josie was one of my favourite politicians. Working in tandem with Bro. George in his hey day they were one of the most dynamic and powerful duos in caribbean politics.

As to his legitimacy for being a commentator, and pundit on the politics of the country he has it, but to comment on Kenny's character and leadership flaws he should be very reserved.

I can still recall the events leading up to the breakup of that Odlum/Josie team and how I felt about him in the aftermath. I felt a deep sense of betrayal and disappointment. What I'm trying to say in essence is the gentleman has character flaws too as do all of us.

Let me say first of all that i hold no brief for Kenny Anthony, but truth be told he is a better leader than King. Does he have shortcomings and flaws you bet he does.

I have faulted his government on its propensity to borrow and spend just like you, but there is no denying the buoyancy of the economy during his administration.
The spending went towards capital projects, the prisons, the east coast road, to name a few. Construction projects made work available providing spending power to folks in the industry.

If we are taking IMF funds to purchase a derelict building that cannot generate any economic activity that bone headed.

Mr. Josie has gone through such a philosophical metamorphasis that while I do read his offerings and seem to agree with him in a few instances, I disagree with him in this instance and take Kenny's take charge and assertive leadership over King's docility and cluelessness any day until a better proposition is offered.

I am in no mood for a better leader than King. If this is what I have to settle for then forget about it.

I want a leader that is prepared to work with all St Lucians. I want a leader who understands that the SLP does not have all the answers. I do not want a leader just because this person or that person is the best avail to me. This to me is papishow.

Anonymous said...

One more thing.According to you, Kenny might be he best avail to me, but is he the best for St Lucia?

We have to start thinking out of the box if this country is to stand a chance.

Mediocrity seems to have no bound.

Anonymous said...

Me thinks Kenny has outlived his leadership stay.

Anonymous said...

I want all these people who are talking to provide a government for St Lucia.

Anonymous said...

Are you saying that without Kenny at the helm St Lucia can't have a government?

Anonymous said...

Why are you so afraid of Kenny? He will be our next PM.

Anonymous said...

Can you take Kenny place?

Anonymous said...

Why are you so afraid of Kenny? He will be our next PM.

Anonymous said...

Doesn't this last poster sound like a broken record? This jackass thinks that he has to repeat himself twice to make a point.

You can have Kenny as your PM. We understand that it's all in your head. I don't.

Anonymous said...

I am afraid of Kenny because I don’t want him to inject any of his wasi and Kennomic sperms into my country again.

There were just too many problems left over after that last BIG release. Rochamel, Cost Overrun, NCA and Step just to name a few. Up to know my country can't recover.

Ha Kenny, ooooh buy paiyee moi bois.

Anonymous said...

I will never call you names, i leave that to you, you show us what you are. I have to repeat my self because the truth never changes. I see all over Kenny must go, this is not repeating. You have selective memory. I speak the truth and i am repeating.

I know a person from the questions he asks, not by the answers he gives.

St. Lucia needs new leaders, SLP and UWP and the rest.

Remove the blood suckers off the nation ....

Anonymous said...

I think josie need some work to do, he is envious of Kenny.

Anonymous said...

How can Peter be envious of Kenny. Look at Peter and Look at Kenny. Peter is more trimed, in his hey day in politics in moved people to stand up for something.

What has Kenny moved anyone to stand up for. You think as a young woman if I had to chose I would go for Kenny.

Big fat slob!

LOL.....

Anonymous said...

Oh my gosh that's crude. LOL

Anonymous said...

You are one of them who look at people by how they look and not their personality. So on that basic King does not qualified, because he is also sloby even more than Kenny. Anyway enough of that foolishness. It is the same slobby Kenny who provided St Lucia with a primary and secondary school place for each and everyone of our children, a proper prison for us to work in and to secure the criminals, replace these many of these nasty police and fire stations with brand new one, two brand new stadiums one in the north and one in the south for our locals, and to host internationals sporting events, a four lane highway in the north and one in the south, a brand new garbage disposal in the Bexon area, two brand new hospitals was being built, one mental and one general, a forensic lad was being built, a cultural center was about to be built, two brand new government building block was built, a brand new car park was built, many hotels was built, the country was kept very clean by the STEP programe etc, etc, etc. What has Josie achieved for St Lucia? He has jumped from party to party, now all he does is saw bad things about Kenny and he is blind to the mess that this government is creating in St Lucia. Shame on you Josie. That is not the Josie i followed on the market steps. He allowed himself to be bought by uwp, He is a fake.

Anonymous said...

Wow, i live overseas, i did not know, Kenny would have put the whole of St Lucia new for us, So why the St Lucians were so stupid to go back to that same uwp who let us down for so long and ended up in the mess it is in today, with all these incompetent ministers, ex convicts and semi literates.

Anonymous said...

Compton did some voodoo to win the elections...lol..no, really the people weren't satisfied with the way Kenny was doing business. All this crap wouldn't be going on if Campi was still around, he'd fire them on the spot.

Anonymous said...

The Kenny critics are howling a lot louder these day for it's still difficult for them to accept their culperbility in what's happening to the country. They got read of an administration that consistantly moved the country forward with consistant growth in the GDP. Got very good rating as one of the top islands for business development in the caribbean. Kenny is not the problem right now. As the saying goes "You reap what you sow". Guess what; you complainers sowed bad seeds. So eat your harvest right now.

Anonymous said...

You can say that again, During Kenny terms in office, imagine Barbadians use to come to St Lucia to work in construction, this is the first time that ever happened in the history of St Lucia. We could not find a bag of cement to buy, because as a shipment arrived in the country, it is sold out. We St Lucians were not satisfied, we changed to some incompetent, dishonest, crookes. We now have bus driver, ex convict, mo mo, semi literate men etc, etc.

Majee talk! Stop blaming the people of St Lucia. Blame kenny for all the mistakes he made that cause of the people of St Lucia be become angree with him and to even boot his backside from office.

The most majee i ever saw was before the last election. Kenny started active campaign for a whole year before he called the elections. By the time he did the people saw that behavior as a kind of sick arrogance and abuse of power. If we are where we are today Kenny is to be blamed and not the honest citizens of St lucia.

They were not the ones hugging Francois after it was determined that he had a false PHD. They were not the ones who caused Henry Charles to go free after the his own minister signal to Kenny there was a problem. They were not the ones who brought Butch Stewwart to St Lucia and today cause him to build fences to get St Lucians out. They were not the ones given Gos Chas the idea that he can monopolize the food industry in the country. They were not the ones who could not account for Rochamel. They were not the ones responsible crime. They were not the ones responsible for the secreat oil project. They were not the ones that became rich overnight. They were not the ones who spend money over in Yankee town to buy the ambassador a mansion. 1.5 million dollars could have done a lot for de country. They were not the ones who told St Lucians to take their had earn cash and invest it in world cup cricket that failed bad. They were not the ones who were travelling to China to look for big money. They were not the ones sipping win at big hotels and PM resident.

You want me to contine. Well leave the poor people of St Lucian alone and stop the insult.

You could recall all the slp mistakes, they are still 100% better than what we have passing as government today, ask any blind man and he will see that. We must blame the people for allowing Juke Bois, who is and was being paid, for confusing them in changing a working government. Also R Wayne who had a grudge against Kenny for firing him, Poleon who believe he is the smartest man in St Lucia etc. I am blaming the people because they are the ones suffering today. What Francios false PHD have to do with anything? How did that hurt or affect the economy of St Lucia? The people of Soufriere still voted slp because they were satisfied with Francios work. Would you be able to provide St Lucians, with the type of employment that Butch Steward has provided for them? If you cannot then please keep quiet. Rochamel is a dead issue, what did the enquire say? Only a blind man will say Kenny did nothing about crime, tell me what this government has done or is doing for crime? Which oil project, as Frederick what has he done for St Lucia for nearly three yrs, because it is he who spoke about that oil project. Give us your proof that the slp is rich overnight. I cannot understand these men are so rich and most of them are back at work, so soon. Mario is a an OECS judge, Greeves is a lecturer in a Grenada university, Pierre is working in his office, Lansiquot is working in the ministry of Agriculture etc, etc. The invsestment that was done for WC cricket, provided much needed employment to St Lucians, money was circulating in the country, that was a good thing, and the development is still here in St Lucia, so please keep quiet.

Anonymous said...

There is nothing to keep quiet about. This is the caribbean where all papishow is ok. Who cares if Mario is a judge? Or shortpants have a job at some University in Grenda. This have nothing to do with mismanagement.

The point I am making is that this is the caribbean where papishow happens. Connnection is all you have to have and before you know it things all irie. Have a Nen or Paween on your side and tell them you have experience messing up your local economy and you have a job. No big deal here.

Did you get a job too after SLP left office? I am sure you did. Henry Charles got one too.

Anonymous said...

Now you change the direction of your discussion, you was the one who said that the men got rich over night. When i told you rich men will go for a cruise or something, and not look for a job so soon, you change the topic and say, who cares they are working. You cannot have your cake and eat it. Which mismanagement you are talking about? How was the country mismanaged when the G.D.P always show growth? in the term of the SLP. We must stop trying to make it look as if, everything negative only happens in the Caribbean. What you spoke about Nen Nen or Paween this does not only happen in the caribbean but many places around the world including the U.S A. Prove to me other wise. So you telling me because people made a mistake on one job, and are fire etc, their life must ended right there, they should turn to crime or starve because they should never get a job again in their life, even though they are qualified. Does that make any sense to you? I am sure you have been fired from a job before, for some wrong doing and you have gotten another job. What has Henry Charles done to you that you keep mentioning his name like that? About getting a job after the slp left, i want to tell you the politicians do not own the country, they are working for us, we pay them, they begged us to vote for them, so we all have the right work in our country, what ever party in power .

I'm having fun reading, I say bring it on.

It's no wonder we are in the situation that we find ourselves in right now. The guy who is a critic of the SLP leader is so blindsided by his ignorance that he sees the color black and swear it's the color white. The political giant moved the country foreward. Those under achievers in power right now deserves all the criticism they get. They promissed a lot an delivered only pain and misery. Why don't you turn your wrath on them instead of following like one of the three blind mice.

Anonymous said...

I am supposed he is also blind to all the scandals, happening in this government. Check what is happening in St Lucia today.
