What happens when you replace garbage with new garbage? They're all garbage.

This is way the people of our country must chart a new way. Forget the SLP and the UWP. They have nothing new to offer.

Anonymous said...

Those who keep on saying there is no difference between UWP and SLP are invariable UWPees who are disgruntled and can not see themselves vote for those guys again but oh no, they will die instead of voting for SLP.
So, if there is no new party, they will still vote for UWP and use that excuse.
SLP's are looking forward to vote out this present government because they KNOW, the SLP is by far a better party with better ideas!!!!!

Trust me, there is a new party in the works.

No new party could EVER win an election in St Lucia, any new party will only make SLP stronger, they will cause SLP to win ALL the seats. The only parties that has any base in St Lucia are uwp and slp.

The person who say they all are garbage, must go to St Lucia to see the work of the SLP in 9 yrs. Universal secondary primary and secondary education, universal healthcare uwp stalled. etc, cte. Which caribbean government that achieved that in 9 yrs? The only garbage we have in St Lucia is UWP..

Run your mouth here and believe that everything is all right in the morning for the SLP. They are going to win without a fight. Go on dreaming...

Any new party is bound to put the strain on both the UWP and SLP. Kenny as the leader of the RIP is not a sure beat. The majority have never been the type to make daysord. They always let RIP make all the daysord and cut their throats at the polls.

Yeah right..more of the same! Winds of change is blowing...what else...ahhh oh yeah mmm UWP is evil...SLP is your saviour....BLAH BLAH BLAH Kenny feels the need to be significant so he is drawing attention to himself(empty vessels makes the most noise) Pip is broke.... he prolly needs the money more than any one else in his party:)Mangal is power hungry.
I guess they forgave Bruce Tucker. If that's case, maybe eventually they will forgive the three ministers they want out too..LOL!!!

The meaning of INSANITY is doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.

SLP-UWP-SLP-UWP-SLP-UWP-SLP-UWP....

And you tell me that the UWP did not have a right to get rid of Mangal. How could a guy who is so partisan serve as a PS. You don't think it would be terrible to have this guy in charge of running a wing of your government.

They all cry fowl. Truth is they are all partisan hacks.

"PIP is broke" If Pip is broke as you said, after 9 yrs as a minister, then he is a very honest politician, that is the kind of people we need in politics, not those who steal from custom, and sue their own governmrnt. I hope that none of the current ministers are not broke after just 2 1/2 yrs in office. I cannot understand how can a minister received a salary for 9 yrs and he is now running his own business is said to be broke, for petty political reasons.

A new party with super humans will fall from heaven and make everything right in St Lucia, dream on you all bias uwpeeeees. This passage is bias, no slp supporter was complaining about anything that was said on the platform. When uwp won the election they repeated over and over the mistakes of the slp, that got them elected, they even do it now, even though they are in government. People are still talking about ROCHAMEL to this day. Now they do not want the opposition to remind the people of the scandals this so called government is creating, saying it will cause dis unity in the country. We all know the plans of the SLP, we have not forgotten all the development that was taking place under the SLP. All what Mangal is the truth. How can he be partism, if he was PS and he wanted or encourage the government to continue the development started under the slp, for the benefit of the country. We all know the uwp and the slp is not the same, the slp is much better than the uwp.

We do need a new party so that those two will think twice before raping the Country over and over again.

That's what will continue to happen if we cannot seperate governance from politics and cannot elect competent individuals to run the country. The blame game will continue and no one will be able to see pass the politics. A whole new vicious cycle will start as if and when the UWP is voted out of office then they will complain about everything the government of the day is doing and at the end of the day there is no progress. Back to square one

Anonymous said...

You are wrong, when we finish with the uwp this time, they will not have any strength to complain about anything. Trust me most of these men are already rich with the Tiawanese money, so they will resign from politics. Most of them will not waste their time returning to politics.

More chicken and rum? ANYONE? 'kay, meet you at the market steps soon...The Messiah will be there promptly with his puppets for some more UWP bashing....CAN HARDLY CONTAIN MYSELF!

Anonymous said...

Are you living in space? Nobody is bashing the uwp, they are bashing themselves, by creating scandals afters scandals. Are you satisfied with the uwp performance? Do not try that, there is no messiah in St Lucia, we just need a government that is at least working, justing as the slp was doing, building schools, hospitals, prison, police and fire stations, government offices, stadiums, hotels, forensic lab, cultural center, car park, highways, health centers etc, etc.

Anonymous said...

What chicken and rum are you talking about? Do any body receive any free chicken and rum at the market steps? All we receive there is political education, if we need chicken or rum we buy it.

Anonymous said...

Do you believe if things was going well in St Lucia in just over 2 yrs a government was elected, the slp would get any massive crowd as it is getting on the market steps? How can you call the people puppets when they are the ones feeling the strain and pain.

We receive sound political education. We receive brainwashing and control of our minds at the market steps

Mangal is talking about scandals but what is the SLP's plan??? Stop fooling the St Lucians Mr. Mangal because you are a victim of the SLP's robbery. Stop talking shit. You sound like and Fool.

Anonymous said...

Mangal, do you have a good plan for St Lucians? Why don't you talk about it instead of accusing the UWP.. SLP is worse so you need to take back what you're saying.

Where were we brained washed to put back uwp back in power to have the country in the mess it is now? It cannot be on the market steps, i am sure.

Mangal is very right, we all know there are criminals in this present government. This is the first time in the history of St Lucia that police have arrested three (3) government ministers. We also have and ex convict in government, we have had two (2) ministers hauld before the court, one has already lost his case and the other one is pending. If they are not criminals, then what is?

The writer seems to have completely missed the story here that is that corruption should be investigated, exposed, and condemned whenever and whereever it raises its ugly head.

The monies and resources squandered by corruption are monies not available for the political, social and economic advancement of the people

The laconic accepatance of corruption by a society not only allows it to continue but florish and embed itself as a way of life in the psych of all the people they become participants and perpertrators themselves practitioners unleasing a cut throat mentality at all levels of that society and representing a serious barrier to social, political and economic development.

political, financial and legal accountability are the cornerstones of democracy, acceptance of corruption as a way of governance seriously undermines this accountablity and strikes a potentially devastating blow to effective democracy.

It must therfore be accepted that corruption in whataever form it raises its ugly head is unacceptable.
