Chastanet getting on as if Caricom Airways is some big jet aircraft that can bring in hundreds of tourists into the country! Why is he so bent on this airline-if you want to call it an airline,which does not even have people to service the aircraft which is a little bigger than a kite. Does super J own or have shares in it????.This spoil brat is getting me sick with his cry baby attitude and lies
This is laughable, Allan you're past the stage of being a "nu-sence" your constant sight on DBS by your acolytes and political hype is a reflection of your tarnish credibility.
You need to stop lobbying for your bosses at caricom airways,sugar beach and almonds which is causing your embarrisement, not been able to deliver,and to safe guard your stock options in the company.
That will soon come to END SOON election is a must --- preparation is in order in Soufriere.
I agree with Chastenet. SLP can play politics with this issue but Chastaent is right to call for an investigation.
An investigation should being with self eximitation.
An investigation should begin to find out why Allan Chastanet, under oath, lied to the High Courts...and was found GUILTY of LYING; that's the first step in this journey.
St. Lucians are numbskulls so says the report. Chastenet and the rest of the UWP lead the pack.
Poor Chastenet his hotels suffering poor jab. I find he really desperate en and making it appear like its such a good thing for Saint Lucia. I am so vex en the man planning to investigate why a letter sent to him was leaked? excuse me who is Allen Chastenet? A man who lied UNDER OATH to the HIGH COURT; and you expect to have any credibility in the region....please. So what happen he is not campaigning for the Soufriere seat again? The Caricom Airways is a bigger fish to fry? WEll I hope he has the writing on the wall. Soufriere people waiting for him!!!!

That's what am wondering about mr chastenet is why all the fuss.
Who are the beneficiary Is it the st lucian people or his business partners.
Is mr chastenet looking for a specific group of people in the name of all st lucian.
When october 2009 when the fcca had their conference Where was the location [almond grove] Now big money was given to fcca How much did our goverment under chastenet gave to the almond grove for food, entertainment, and transportation for and into the area.
He needs to stop makin believe he's working for st lucians He's working for a select few and setting up his business partner.
Now he wants to run for the soufriere seat becase soufriere has tourist potential and he's friends can benefit as well as himself and look at those whom he have around him the lamontagne and others who exploit people and give them cheap labour and seriously don't like to pay.
As was said he is phony, he does not have all at heart but just a select few he too have that mental slavery in him,and its time for king to call election cause he has no balls.
Was that man being paid for nothing while he was working for that airline? Chastenet needs his head investigated instead.
This man needs a shrink. The people of Soufriere do not need a man operating outside the real world of reality as a representative. Let him be placed in charge of his father's business and grow it into a conglomerate with this depth of genius and all the business acumen he keeps on showing us time and time again.
Why? Why are St Lucians hell bent on rumours??
Investigations CAN be conducted by ANYONE - instead of eating up rumours.
If you think Mr Chastanet is LYING ... instead of listening to and agreeing with the rumour-mongers, check out the truth for yourselves!! Simple. THEN, you can come to your own conclusion.
Me? I have NO IDEA what this is all about. But all the above comments stink of "wars and wars and rumours of war!"
In short people, rumours are destestable, and the mother of all "mess-ups" - personally, I like to find out the truth for myself; then make my own judgement.
@anonymous #12, we do not think that Chastanet is lying, as you put it...the High Courts itself found and proved that Chastanet is a liar, the High Courts said so themselves, so, what is there to check?
Are you a paid hand of Chastanet to defend him of what cannot be defended?
Check the high courts records and it will revealed to you their findings on how Chastanet cannot be trusted; he is a liar and a cheat.
Why doesn't apply his great business knowledge on his inheritance and make it bigger? Wait! His father does not trust him too?
Based on Chastanet's rantings, it looks like he has tied the tax payers dollars in that scheme. This is why he is desperate.
We need to investigate whether government has any tax payers dollars invilved in that deal. Who is paying for that airline while it is on the ground.

Chastanet wants an investigation? He is upset that we were told that he and the Attorney General or "Doddy gets it wrong" lied about progress on the Airline. Hurray to all whistle blowers, continue belling the big cats in the cabinet
Oh for pity's sake... does anyone realise that this airline Chastanet is making so much fuss for, has only EIGHT-SEATER aircraft?

But LIAT which he is always cussing, has 37 and 50 seater aircraft.
Meanwhile, RedJet has also been waiting on its time to fly, pending checks from the civil aviation authorities in Barbados and you don't hear all this stink from them. And that is a real airline - 149 seaters!
Let's be honest - an 8-seater aircraft is hardly going to make a dent in the 16,000 lost regional visitors.
So why is Chastanet making such a big deal for something barely bigger than a private jet?
Follow the money. There is a bank account to put money in if the airline mogul wins this one.
