GOOD SHOWING AT NJC

Shame on you St. Lucians. Here was an event for you to attend in large numbers to support these young men and women to affirm and endorse the positive things that they do and you chose to stay away.

If we do not show these young people the same level of encouragement and support for the good things they do just as much as we denounce them for the bad that some of them do they will lose the urge to stay on the straight and narrow.

We want a society with less crime yet we show an intolerable level of indifference and in some cases disdain for young people who chose to do right.

I went to the high school games in Jamaica and saw the level of support that parents and people from the communities that these kids originate from got and I was filled with awe. It was a carnival atmostphere there and we wonder why Jamaicans do so well in athletics on the world stage.

If it was some Vybz Kartel show I bet they would ffind the time and the money to go and take in that smut. Shame
