According to this article the In Time Project is "aimed at strengthening the ability of teachers and motivating students in their studies", and is poised to "enhance administration management, evaluate the learning abilities of students, enhance the progress of curriculum reform in primary schools and improve the capability of the Ministry of Education in monitoring the progress of schools and making policies".

These are alot of words. Exactly how does this In Time program plan to do this. Can we have a follow up article on some of the specifics of the In Time Program. How exactly will this program be used? What will the students use it to do? We are told what it will do generally but HOW will it do this. I would love to get some more information on HOW the program works.

It is of the greatest urgency that the uwp administration delineate to the public how it intends to disbursed laptops to every child in St.Lucia. What if a household has three children worthy of computers--would they give one laptop to the family or three computers to the family?

I know it is an elction year but it is noteworthy to add that governments must ensure that they do not make promises to our children, which they may not be able to keep. That is not to say that they may not come through with their goal but governments need to be reminded that the citizenry should not be made to go down that road of empty promises again.

This is simply one of the many grandiose plans of a mentally sick government. They all need to report themselves to their ill-equipped mental wellness centre for psychological care...bunch of jokers thinking that they can fool St. Lucians...tell them think again. Tell them to think through their statements before making such public expressions that can only serve to break the spirits of our children who have been perpetually fed with failed promises. JOKERS!!!

Computers are very useful in ever facet of life, but it could be a very distractive tool if placed discriminately in the hands of every child without supervision. Computers if used properly could be a very useful in obtaining information and to improve students overall.
But will any honest person tell me if the students will use the computers for it intended purpose? I think students should be encouraged to study their books and do a lot of homework, because there are to many distractions on the computer like face-book, twitter, my-space porn etc, etc. Which the children will prefer to waste their on instead of doing school work.

This is really a cart before the horse education programme. Looks like Kings level of thinking is all over this one. I guess this is not so simple as Jouk Buah and the other jackasses Poh Lay Yon and Karh Ass Koh would like us to think.
