Anonymous 10h28 is right - St Lucia has acquired a nasty reputation for sex crimes, look at this from today's paper in the UK... read the comments and weep. Time for St Lucia to clean up and treat women with respect. Happy to see Carolin from Jade in the limelight but Ministry of Tourism no good. Change starts there and Better Days will Come.

Where in the UK article did they mentioned sex crime? It's more like this Rasta wanted to get rid of this old white woman to keep the house and land for himself.

Did you read the comments?

What people think of us and our island?

The first comment - "Whenever a wealthy, middle-aged, British divorcee steps off a plane, the local men form a line"

And look at who Kenny choose to head tourism?

In the UK, and in America, women have right to choose.

Choops. St Lucia tourism tainted.

Why this rasta white woman story not in local media? Why it being covered up? What happened in La Guerre.

Somebody know but not talking

This is not the first time that a white woman has met a nasty end in St. Lucia.

Well what do you expect?

St. Lucia has one of the earliest girl sexual initiation ages in the world. i.e. young girls have sex as early as possible. Decency has gone out of the door.

The highest out of wedlock births in the world according to the UN (86%). According to the research this means that our boys grow up untrained and wild and the girls have sex at an early age.

The US embassy in Bds reported a few years ago that the country with the highest levels of fraudalent documents in applications for visas is -- St. Lucia.

Rochamel, Hellinites, Grynsberg, Ministers who are not Doctors, hundreds of dollars in cost overuns.

An increasingly arrogant citizenry with no sense of personal responsibility.

The Helen of the West !

Time for some introspection.

This woman's death had been accepted as natural until the St.Lucian police disputed that. So it's the St.Lucian police that have opened up a can of worms.

Anonymous said...

So the St Lucia police does their job and you say CAN OF WORMS?

Shame on you.
Shame on Lorne.
Shame on St Lucia.

This article about tourism attracts comments about rape, dead white women and al. WELCOME TO ST LUCIA. LOCK UP YOUR WIVES AND DAUGHTERS ALL YEE WHO ENTER HERE.

The SLP leadership because it is all about their personal agendas and egos cannot see the connection between two accused rapists given posts in this administration and good governance.

Even given this english woman problem the slp cannot connect the dots.
That is why there is no hope for st lucia in the near future.
