ALAS.. i hope now that most employees can speak out against any signs of their mistreatment at work or abuse of power from those that be or working excessively and not being compensated for it.. i hope this code or law speaks for the voiceles..
although this is really irrelevant.. i wonder if uwp was in power today when will this labour code have gone into effect maybe 2014 or who knows 2016 just b4 elections -knowing them.
LABOUR CODE IS GOD'S 11 COMMANDMENT 2 SI.LUCIA.
LET ME HEAR FROM THE CRITIC!!!!
and how much will cost to get a copy and what happen to employers who go by the labour code ?
Whatever was done or is to be done with the Labour Code we know the following is the thought process of Kenny Anthony who is presently liming in London "advising" the athletes according to the press release from his propaganda organ.
"Big Belly Man" advising athletes!!! LOL !! Just a $100,000 lime on the taxpayers money!
The 1st thing Kenny asks in making a decision on the Labour Code is " What is in it for me ?' How does it benfit my political career ?"
The next thing he asks is "How does it benefit the SLP and its chances in elections?
Only after that does he ask " How does this benefit St. Lucia and St. Lucians?
Wonder why we have a national debt going on to $2 billion or $2,000,000,000 ?
Wonder why we have Rochamel with no explanations or Grynsberg with no explanations ?
Because the leadership of the SLP do what is good for them and not St. Lucians. St. Lucians get the crumbs while Kenny and the sLP get the full cake !
Go figure!
