And what are we going to do about the rising crime? Did they take that into account before awarding us this trophy?

How long will it remain that way if the crime situation is not abated, and the volly of government corruption is unseizing? It may soon become apparent that we are a lawless state.

There seem to be a disconnect between those who are on the world stage promoting us and those who are here home running the country.

-Hey Saint Lucia is a paradise, come home and be Merry." In reality it is turning into a hell hole-

its nice to know we are getting these anual repeats of best destination for honey mooners..but as the above bloggers are saying ,, crime is an issue .. several times visiting tourists via cruise or air get robbed annually... also this fact... in the last 4 yrs st lucia hasnt had any new hotels built... except HOTEL CHOCOLAT with a measely 6 rooms.. while barbados , st kitts , antigua has a few hotel projects on their gov portfolios..

my point is ..even if we get all these awards what really need is some big investors.. hopefully potential investors will hear about our destination award and may choose to investigate whether they desire to invest in our country

The first comment is so-o-o-o-o-o-o-o PATHETIC!

It is so-o-o-o-o-o-o-o SELF-LOATHING!

Sure bet! You need a shrink.

You mean to say, that they should take the nasty side of Saint Lucians into account, before they praise the better countervailing factors, that make the island still ... the best honeymooning location in the Caribbean?

It would appear that the idiot up there would say 'yes' to that.

You must be the top and leading student in the UWP's Juuk Buwah College for ignoramuses and idiots!
