Dear President Napolitano,

On behalf of our Tribunal and people of conscience everywhere, and of the millions of victims of church abuse, I am making an appeal to you regarding your upcoming meeting with Joseph Ratzinger, who will retire soon as Pope Benedict, the Pontiff of the Church of Rome.

Our understanding is that, in the wake of pressure to have him resign his office because of his proven complicity in concealing child trafficking in his church and other crimes against humanity, Joseph Ratzinger is seeking the assistance of the Italian government in securing protection and immunity from legal prosecution.

I need not remind you, Mr. President, that under international law and treaties that have been ratified by Italy, you and your government are forbidden from granting such protection to those like Jospeh Ratzinger who have aided and abetted criminal actions, such as ordering Bishops and Cardinals in America and elsewhere to protect known child rapists among their clergy.

Your obligation to the Vatican through the Lateran Treaties does not negate or nullify the requirements of these higher moral and international laws; nor does it require that you give any protection or immunity to a single individual like Joseph Ratzinger, especially after he has left his papal office.

The need for you to abide by international law and not be seen to collude with Joseph Ratzinger is even more true when one considers the enormity of the crimes of which the Vatican and its highest officials are clearly guilty, according to considerable evidence gathered and documented by our Tribunal and other groups, and acknowledged by many governments.

In Canada alone, the Roman Catholic Church and its Vatican agents have been found guilty of responsibility for genocide and the deaths of at least 50,000 aboriginal child children in the Jesuit-initiated Indian residential school system, that operated until 1996.

In Ireland, more than 10,000 women suffered and were exploited in the Catholic-run Magdalene Laundries, where many of them died. Similar church-run institutions all over the world have caused enormous mortality, disease and ruination for millions of children. And yet the church has never been held accountable or prosecuted for these deaths and the theft of enormous wealth from entire nations.

With the recent initiative of at least one European government and a host of lawyers to bring Joseph Ratzinger and other church officials to trial for these crimes, we feel it is incumbent on you neither to assist nor to be seen to assist or condone the attempt by him to evade, obstruct or delay justice, lest you open yourself to a charge of being an accessory to a crime.

On behalf of our Tribunal and of many people who cannot speak, I call on you to stand on the law of nations and humanity, and offer no support or protection to Joseph Ratzinger or his accessories in their efforts to evade responsibility for their proven crimes.

I look forward to your reply, and to discussing this with you more when I visit your country in May with a human rights delegation to investigate this matter more closely.

Argentine Court: Church Complicit in 'Dirty War' Crimes

In a historic ruling, an Argentine court has found that the country’s Catholic Church was complicit in the human rights abuses committed by the military dictatorship that ruled Argentina from 1976 to 1983.

As Argentina's InfoNews reports, the ruling was issued by a four-judge tribunal in the western province of La Rioja, which was presiding over the murder trials of Carlos de Dios Murias and Gabriel Longueville, two priests who had been killed in 1976. Both were active members of the Movement of Priests for the Third World, an association of progressive clergymen. After being detained by officials, their mutilated bodies were found dumped near train tracks in La Rioja.

In addition to sentencing three military officials to life imprisonment for the crime, the tribunal found that the Catholic Church shared responsibility for the murders. The judges ruled that Church hierarchy in the country not only turned a blind eye to the torture, disappearances and extrajudicial killings committed by the military regime, but had in many cases colluded with authorities in order to target progressive priests. Fiddling while Rome Burns? The Pope Hides from Sight while Italian Church and State Feign Normalcy

The biggest crisis to hit Catholicism since the Reformation keeps spiraling out of control for the Vatican.

Domestic commentators describe events in Rome as constituting the worst political problem for an Italian government in decades, as President Napolitano is being pressured by the Vatican and his Lateran Treaty obligations to aid Pope Benedict evade and obstruct justice.

The entire matter of the Pope’s situation and Italian liability for criminal behavior was apparently high on the agenda of Napolitano’s recent discussions with US President Barack Obama in Washington, DC.

Meanwhile, keeping an accused Joseph Ratzinger under their protection in defiance of international law, the Vatican’s Secretariat of State under Cardinal Bertone is delaying their response to a Diplomatic communique from a European government notifying Rome of impending legal action against Ratzinger.

According to a source who is a liaison with the said government, no official reply has been issued by Bertone’s office to the February 4 communique, nor is the Secretariat even engaged in back-channel communications on the matter.

“They are pretending the Diplomatic Note never arrived, and that business is normal leading up to their Conclave to choose their next pope. They must maintain an appearance of stability right now, we are assuming” said the liaison source.

Meanwhile, the church-dominated Italian media has launched a vilifying and uninformed assault on the ITCCS and Kevin Annett without having contacted or interviewed Annett or ITCCS officers.

Nevertheless, ITCCS website traffic has exceeded 300,000 “hits” in the past several days, and legal and political help is pouring in to the Tribunal, especially from Italy and the United States.

The ITCCS is planning public occupations of Catholic churches commencing Sunday, March 24, 2013. It will issue an update and plan of action tomorrow, on this website.

Pope Immunity: Vatican Will Protect Benedict From Sexual Abuse Prosecution

(Reuters) - Pope Benedict's decision to live in the Vatican after he resigns will provide him with security and privacy. It will also offer legal protection from any attempt to prosecute him in connection with sexual abuse cases around the world, Church sources and legal experts say.

"His continued presence in the Vatican is necessary, otherwise he might be defenseless. He wouldn't have his immunity, his prerogatives, his security, if he is anywhere else," said one Vatican official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

"It is absolutely necessary" that he stays in the Vatican, said the source, adding that Benedict should have a "dignified existence" in his remaining years.

Vatican sources said officials had three main considerations in deciding that Benedict should live in a convent in the Vatican after he resigns on February 28.

Vatican police, who already know the pope and his habits, will be able to guarantee his privacy and security and not have to entrust it to a foreign police force, which would be necessary if he moved to another country.; February 19, 2013 at 2:38 PM

Pope Benedict XVI Resigned Partly Because Of Powerful Vatican Gay Lobby, Italian Paper Claims

Was the pope under the influence of a secretive "gay lobby" within the Vatican itself?
That's the claim put forth by Italian daily newspaper La Repubblica.
On Thursday, the popular paper published an article alleging that Pope Benedict XVI's decision to resign this month was partly prompted by a report that accused Vatican officials of being under the influence of several internal lobbies, reportedly including a gay one.

The Irish Times reports that Benedict commissioned the report after the Vatileaks scandal broke last year. The report, written by a trio of cardinals, concluded that "various lobbies within the Holy See were consistently breaking" the sixth and seventh commandments, "thou shalt not commit adultery" and "thou shalt not steal."
(The sixth commandment referencing adultery has historically been tied to the Catholic Church's doctrine banning homosexuality.)
The nearly 300-page dossier would be passed on to pope's successor, the report added.

Father Federico Lombardi, the Vatican spokesman, released an arguably vague statement about the accusations.
"Neither the cardinals' commission nor I will make comments to confirm or deny the things that are said about this matter," he said, according to the Guardian. "Let each one assume his or her own responsibilities. We shall not be following up on the observations that are made about this."
The Guardian also reported that a separate Italian daily, Corriere della Sera, mentioned a "disturbing" dossier in an article published soon after the pope's resignation announcement.

Scandalous revelations involving the Vatican and gay sex have been published by La Repubblica before. In 2010, the newspaper revealed wiretaps and police documents that showed a Vatican chorister and an elite papal usher had been involved with a gay prostitutes ring. Both men were dismissed from their duties, the Telegraph notes.
La Repubblica's allegations are only the latest in a string of theories relating to the pope's sudden departure, which has prompted rampant speculation.
Benedict himself has further confused matters with his Ash Wednesday homily, in which he referenced vague internal "divisions."

Allow me to first address the line that; "Pope Benedict is a master strategist. He has already set the Church on course." A line could not possibly be more wrong; unless of course one sees the denial of almost every major dogma of the Catholic Church, as setting the Church on course; for that is what Joseph Ratzinger/Benedict XVI is guilty of.

Michael Davies, in his book "Liturgical Revolution: Pope John's Council" on pg 51 lists Ratzinger/Benedict XVI as one of the "periti" at Vatican II, the Robber's Council. Ratzinger/BenedictXVI was one of the men most responsible for bringing about the "modernist" changes, at Vatican II; the very modernists the author of the article cites as, "enemies from within the Church" which, in itself is an erroneous statement; for the Church in her perfection can have no "enemies" within her.

Benedict XVI was of course "elected" in 2005; soon after his "election" to the "Chair of Peter" he "... set the Church on course" by leading those who believe he is Pope, right to the Jewish Synagogue in Cologne Germany in August of 2005. Jews do not worship Jesus Christ as God and therefore they do not worship God. All true Christians should be appalled by such a sacrilegious action by the so called Pope Benedict who took active part in a Jewish worship service; a worship service which does not regard Jesus Christ Our Lord and Saviour as God.

Of course the author of this article was quick to point out Benedict's apparent staunch Catholic Faith and attack on Islam, citing the Regensburg address where "The Holy Father by simply quoting the 13th century Byzantium Emperor Michael Paleologus who charged Islam with unreasonableness, allowed the reaction to prove the charge."

This of course is also very misleading information because in November 2006, Benedict XVI, the so-called Pope, entered the Blue Mosque in Turkey and took active participation in the false worship of the Muslims; even praying towards Mecca with the Grand Mufti. One can compare this to a Catholic who says that they disagree with Protestantism, yet go to Protestant Service on Sunday; only worse because at least Protestants recognize Our Lord Christ as God. It renders that person's words meaningless, as are the words of Benedict XVI in his so-called criticism of Islam in the Regensburg address.

Again, we must remember that Muslims do not accept that our Lord Jesus is God and therefore do not worship God. For someone who everyone sees as the leader of the Christian world, to enter such a place where Christ is blasphemed and mocked as merely a "prophet" is scandalous to say the least.

To further make my point about the sinister nature of Benedict's contradictory actions and his true intentions towards Islam I quote an address dated January 19th 2007. Benedict the XVI said "I frequently expressed the respect of the Catholic Church for Islam and the esteem of the Pope and the faithful for Muslim believers, especially during my visit to Istanbul's Blue Mosque" There it is; Benedict's true feelings towards Islam. His address at Regensburg was just a ruse to mask his true apostate beliefs about this wicked religion. Benedict who has managed to dupe nearly the whole world, into believing that he is this bastion of conservative Catholicism also denies that Christ is the Messiah and claims that Jewish interpretation of scriptures to that effect is understandable. In his book "God and the World" (pg. 209) he said; "It is of course possible to read the Old Testament so that it is not directed toward Christ; it does not point quite unequivocally to Christ. And if Jews cannot see the promises as being fulfilled in him, this is not just ill will on their part, but genuinely because of the obscurity of the texts..." (The liberals in the "Church" must have been doing cartwheels when a man like that later went on to be "elected".)
There are many other atrocious things that Benedict has done and said; such as wearing a miter with the Star of David etched on it, denying the unity of Christ, praying with a female Lutheran false Bishop, and denying the resurrection of the body amongst other things.
