My fellow lucians this has no bearing on mosquitoes but a virus that is in the air We lucians have to watch our lifestyle having proper diet rest, good outdoor air good sunshine, good sleep in that our immune system will be stronger to help fight these viruses but when we do not take care of ourselves as we should it leaves our immune system vunerable to attacks by these viruses The bible says in these last days perilous times going to be upon us

@5.57 who the fuck are you coming on here spreading your ignorance?

Keep your house and living areas sanitised, don't leave pools of water to fester. Spray your house / light a coil.

Leave your bible stuff out of a public health issue. Idiot.

St.Lucians continue to not take Chikungunya seriously because they are following in the footsteps of the joke of a health ministry that refused to even acknowledge the disease when it first started sweeping other nations and then came to St. Lucia

Maybe if the health ministry did its job, people would actually listen to them

rnment through the Ministry of Health must do all that is necessary to minimize the economic and social cost of this disease on its citizens; and take this seriously.

The CITY COUNCILS do not clean the drains they are supposed to be cleaning on a timely basis. The Ministry of Health's SANITATION DEPARTMENT must see that the CITY COUNCILS DO THEIR JOBS PROPERLY.

Very often when they clean the drains they leave all the debris on the side of the drains for over one week.

This clearly depicts poor management.

It's true the sanitation department is a joke. That stench on that road to Reduit beach near the Gros Islet Hwy...

Ignorance is no excuse for people to ignore the warnings of our Health experts. Look up the virus on the net, there is no con, its passed from mosquito's biting someone with the disease then the same mosquito goes and bites someone else who then contracts the virus. If people really cared about each other they would do everything to minimise this debilitating virus. Think of the children who may have it; or will get it, and the pain they must be in.
