Are these political scare tactics meant to befuddle lay persons.
Imagine a modern politician admitting under no duress (albeit a public interview) some connection with the occult-and his constituency (parish) is home to Catholic Basilica -StLucia.

Outsiders interfering in local politics are always helping to screw up the place even more.
It has become plain to all that the attacks on Chastanet have nothing to do with colour but with socio economic jealousy.
Kenny Anthony's heritage of slave owning ancestors and also with a pure white father who was a member of the St. Lucian 0.001% elites, makes him a more obvious target for the useless, primitive and vicious race baiters from the Labour Party.
Chastanet on the other hand has as his father an individual who came from the middleclass of whites and had to work his way up the ladder of success. Chastanet only has one generation of real elite money to his background.
The hatred of Chastanet therefore comes from two sources. The first and most obvious is that Kenny and his parasitical acolytes see him as the greatest danger as with his economic strength he can finance a good campaign and does not need to 'scrunch' to make ends meet. He is an existentialist threat to their raping of the national treasury and taxpayers.
The second relates to his colour only in the sense that there is the belief that someone of his degree of 'whiteness' and socio economic strength should NOT be involved in politics which is seen as the 'right' of the black man from humble beginnings. Kenny himself for example came into politics with the minimum of financial strength and has only made any real money from his stint in St. Lucian politics.
The racial animosity to Chastanet therefore comes from pure greed as those who see politics as the pathway to wealth with the accounts in Miami which are diverted from their 'godfather' would cease with the UWP in power.
This therefore makes for sad reading. It makes it obvious that the SLP politicians are not there for the people but for their pockets which is why after 11 years in power from 1997 and with EC$2 billion in accumulated debt the country is riven by animosity, a high murder rate,increased poverty, a dismal future, institutions that are broken down and inefficient and a country on a downward spiral. Every day our people look harder and harder as though they are living in hell.
It is like the story of placing a live frog in a pot of water on a stove and as the water heats up it does not realize it is being boiled to death! So with St. Lucians. As their lives fall apart ever so slowly they do not realize they are dying a slow death compliments of Kenny and his parasites bleeding the country to death!
