‘Rule Of Law’ Is Perishing Here

Great stuff. Everyone's priorities are skewed to the frivolous rather than the serious.

Where is the yearly audit as set out in the constitution? Conveniently it doesn't exist to point out Kenny and the political class' financial wrongdoings.

The law is a powerful tool as it represents the power to subjugate the rights of another person. It should be used in a clear and as limited fashion as possible. But if its not enforced then it makes a mockery of the entire system. This allows resentment to build up when people don't see wrongdoing punished, by politicians, policemen and their fellow citizens.

The legal system in St Lucia has suddenly become a system where as many people as possible is kept in prison. I seems as if somebody or some persons are getting paid to allow that to happen. The Attorney General and invariably the St Lucia Bar Association are the greatest culprits for they can put an end to this matter, but they prefer not to. It is quite laughable when a person is being told ÈYou have too many charges so you cannot be granted bail. This individual is not on remand for murder, is not a flight risk (His ID card and passport even though it has already expired) has been confiscated. Meanwhile the individual has a family that suffers because he is unable to provide for them. The legal system in St Lucia is a farce. Perhaps those in authority (so called) are awaiting a repeat of what occurred at Her Majesty's prisons a few years ago.

Dr Stephen King is doing a marvellous job, but he does not have enough support from the citizens of St Lucia. It appears that St Lucians are too caught up in survival mode and therefore cannot be bothered with the injustice that is happening here. In a democracy nothing happens without the permission of the people. Therefore, it is the people who have to raise their vices against that abomination that exists among us. STOP the INJUSTICE. If St Lucia is signatory to the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, then St Lucia has certainly violated every inch of that declaration. Rise Up people and Let your voices be heard!

And where the hell is the so-called Constitutional Expert all these years he served as Prime Minister in our country.

And more than that; he always took over the reigns of the Ministry of Home Affairs and National Security as if he is/was the Minister in charge. So he had direct hands on; about what was going on at Bordelais.

But now we all in this country are getting the clear picture; which is getting clearer and clearer, with each passing day; that this expert is nothing but a quack.

The expert is a communist; so do not expect him to be putting the people first. This is what is done in a democracy.

He puts himself. his children, his two wives and political zombies in focus. Nothing and no one else matters.

Examine the operations of Fidel Castro and Vladimir Putin. Don't you not see the same traits, habits and practices?

This country is no longer a democracy. Can't you not see what is happening? right under your very noses?

The behaviour raises eyebrows regarding the institutions issuing credentials in this island. What is happening is in reverse "one Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest"

How many of those persons ever prosecuted a case and one their case? Hmmm. That says a lot.

But the rule of law was long time ago a casualty when the constitution was bypassed with Grynberg Affair.

The local legal fraternity went tight-lipped over this affair. Today, its members continue to play the role of midwife to the social, political and legal damages being inflicted on this society by this administration. Lest we forget: when we sow the wind, we reap the whirlwind.
