Josie, you bloody well know that statement is partially true. Compton was the first to hammered the first nail or two in the banana coffin. But you failed to say that.

Everybody with even a modicum of common sense knows that the American firms supporting the Latin American Banana Republics, with them and us being a former member of the GAAT that morphed into the WTO, under WTO rules destroyed the local banana industry. The preferential pricing masked our uncompetitive production costs. We lost the market to those countries without the price support and tariff arrangement.
This is the unvarnished truth.
Locally, the wilful ignorance of John Compton and his failure in the pursuit of his quixotic and obtuse idea of reviving the local banana industry when the preferential tariffs were withdrawn, removed the mask of fake genius and leadership skills. It revealed the redolence of his bankruptcy of economic vision, without alternative developmental ideas and his failure to prepare, as the economy found itself in an inevitable maelstrom.
Compton's failures and the economic tailspin are still reverberating throughout the society. Their ripple effects are evidenced by the very noticeable social implosion and the uptick in the numbers of our weekly murders and stabbings. And please note too, that I am not a member of any political party.

Alfred Sharpton is one of the most dynamic Africans in the World - whenever a Black American is shaking-up the American Racist System, he or she will be demonized by the White Press. Therefore, the mere fact that Josie listens to Sharpton's programs, has elevated Josie from a Roman to a semi-conscious Black in my sight.

Columbus’ Men Were Rapists and Murderers
On Columbus’s first trip to the Caribbean, he later returned to Spain and left behind 39 men who went ahead and helped themselves to Native women. Upon his return the men were all dead.
With 1,200 more soldiers at his disposal, rape and pillaging became rampant as well as tolerated by Columbus.
This is supported by a reported close friend of Columbus, Michele de Cuneo who wrote the first disturbing account of a relation between himself and a Native female gift given to him by Columbus.
“While I was in the boat I captured a very beautiful Carib woman, whom the said Lord Admiral gave to me, and with whom, having taken her into my cabin, she being naked according to their custom, I conceived desire to take pleasure. I wanted to put my desire into execution but she did not want it and treated me with her finger nails in such a manner that I wished I had never begun. But seeing that (to tell you the end of it all), I took a rope and thrashed her well, for which she raised such unheard of screams that you would not have believed your ears. Finally we came to an agreement in such manner that I can tell you that she seemed to have been brought up in a school of harlots.”
Several accounts of cruelty and murder include Spaniards testing the sharpness of blades on Native people by cutting them in half, beheading them in contests and throwing Natives into vats of boiling soap. Columbus Enslaved the Native People for Gold
Because Columbus reported a plethora of Natives for slaves, rivers of gold and fertile pastures to Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand, Columbus was given 17 ships and more than 1,200 men on his next expedition. However, Columbus had to deliver. In the next few years, Columbus was desperate to fulfill those promises—hundreds of Native slaves died on their way back to Spain and gold was not as bountiful as expected.

This week on Fox News Radio, host John Gibson had a heated exchange with Malik Zulu Shabazz, the former head of the New Black Panther Party and current head of Black Lawyers for Justice who called for a “rebellion” if Ferguson, MO officer Darren Wilson is not indicted on murder charges.
Several times Shabazz explained he is calling for a, "rebellion" against America and the "wicked world order," explaining "we have as much right to rebel against America society as America did against the British."
He said while he would not call for violence, he would also not condemn it because he explained, "The authority of the white man and white America is illegitimate. You have been killing us for 400 years."
Shabazz has been on the ground in Ferguson leading protests since Michael Brown was fatally shot by police office Darren Wilson earlier this summer.
