This kind of ignorance is still in our country. Leave the woman alone. Turn to god St Lucians leave voodoo alone.
Obviously, this lady needs the protection of the authorities; for which her taxes and others, by extension, are being paid.
This is very grave. A threat on one's life cannot go unoticed and unpunished by means of the appropriate laws.
Leave the poor woman alone; find something constructive to do; perhaps some community project; act decently and civilly - and not like ANIMALS...

This woman should be left alone to live a deccent life.
Stop smoking crack, stop sitting on your behinds with nothing to do, stop harassing and bullying this woman; find a job, be constructive and contribute the to the development of your community in whatever form you can.
I bet there are empty soft drinks bottles on the grounds all over your community; why don't you exert this enery into cleaning up those bottles, et al; rather than sitting and smoking crack and harassing this poor woman, is is frighten to death; as she should.

Such nonesense in 2010, when there's electricity, internet access, cable TV, mobile phones, etc all over the island. I thought that these stories died two or three generations ago, when lucelec was unable to provide most of the island with electricity. The days when village folk would gather and tell stories about 'la diablesse' and 'magi noire'. No point in asking these idiots to leave the poor woman be via this medium, because they more than likely have never read a newspaper. The Police need to take this seriously, because the moron who is threatening this lady seems like he is desparate for a 'stripe'. He wants to kill in order to have some sort of rep. The sad truth is he may act on it, hoping to become a village hero, rather than the village jack-ass that he really is. I sincerely hope that something is done. The lady needs protection from these 'bwa bwas' who are clearly still locked in the dark ages.

This is not simply a black and white issue. This is a serious issue and we must pay attention to the questions the police asked the boy. The questions suggest that the police is part of the ignorance which brings us to the issue of socialization. This problem is at the heart of our culture and is nothing more than modern day witch hunting. This lady will be killed unless there is some serious intervention and with everyone still believing in witchery and its sorts, she will more than likely be killed. Case in point, the small child who disappeared in dennery a few months ago was attributed to the Lajabless. Are you kidding? Perverted people are kidnapping, selling and or abusing children and we blame it on Lajabless. It is so sad that as we pretend to be "westernized" we are still backwards. The fact is that St. Lucia on the whole is in a hopeless state. The people are hopeless because of lack of jobs, money to send their kids to school, and food. The will steal from who ever they can. Everyone steals whether it is the shopkeeper from his customers, the fisherman, the politician, the lawyer, they all steal from others. A lawyer stole 10,000 from my mother and got away with it. A shopkeeper kept 1.25 of my change and has not given it to me yet. She remembers but she will pretend she doesn't owe me the money as long as I don't ask for it. Shop owners overcharge a person simply because the person looks like he/she can afford it. Sellers in the market overcharge locals and tourists on food. Everyone steals from each other. So people will go into other people's homes and take things that do not belong to them simply because they do not have or they want more. Then we blame it on witchcraft because they refuse to face the fact that st. lucians are all thieves, and they steal from each other. It's not a witch stealing your things or removing your things from your house, its your friends, your family members, your neighbors.
