Sandra, you are so UWP that you dising John Compton??? I can't believe what I am reading. I understand why you are so blind to see that the UWP you are supporting is basically a symbol and colour without its founding principle. When you dis the principle and hold on to the symbol and colour, it's no wonder that St Lucia is in deep trouble.

It's a good thing that not having a degree does not prevent anyone from winning a seat. This is what true democracy and the will of the people is all about. Our list of politicians who have won elections without a degree is unending. It's a known fact that a vast majority of votes see personality, people's skills etc as being much more valuable than "degree" politics.
The nice thing about it all is -when the bell ring it's not about how many degrees you have but your ability to communicate directly to the voters.
WhileI agree that' Sandra's article is bullshit-we should stop knocking down king for not having a "degree". The man served 10 years prior to this in government. We have to stop the bias because he has more expereince in government than the fellas serving with him presently and those in the opposition who want to replace him.
St. Lucians have been schooled only to be beggars and to do menial work. Some for example our prime minister so-called can not find work outside of political office. Even the Liar under oath before an appeal's court has not been taken by any of the major airlines. Whereas our beggars adore people with lighter colour, our 'blue-eyed' white cannot find work in the airline industry. His colour is not good enough for him to make it. Now he trying to fool the people of Soufriere that he has more than his usual nonsense to offer them.
Harlots are aplenty especially in the fishing season. The two major parties have loads of them doing all kinds of work. The foolish fish are reminding us that it is the silly season. It is upon us already.
Everyone who has been following politics since the emergence of the UWP knows fully well that Compton only tolerated yes-men and persons who could not and would not threaten his position as PM.
Broomsticks were the ministers he gave us. As minister of finance he controlled their ministries. Compton cleared the deck of capable people like Hunter J. Francois. The rest did not show any ability to rub two ideas together to create a third.
Therefore, to boast of being a minister under John Compton is to suggest that you take pride in being used. Ten years of doing the same thing as experience is not very convincing proof that you were ever in control of the ministry apparently assigned.
Fairty took pride in sounding like a broken record that he built 'fairty' schools. That idiot never realised that bright children will survive their lousy teachers and underfunded school buildings.
What remarkable health services can this law office clerk boast of under his ministry? What did he do that he can claim was his original idea when he carried the title? Better still, tell us.

Is this why Finistere with all of his degrees gave us cost over run? Didn't Kenny unlike Compton turn a blind eye to his ministry?
Is this why Kenny with all of his Phd mistook 45 million for $45.00? Boy, he was so indepdendent he flushed down 45 million thinking that it was loose change in the amount of $45.00 in his pocket.
If Stephenson King had performed so poorly during his prior 10 years in office, why wasn't he the subject of Kenny's failed commission of inquiry?
Kenny's kept such a blind eye on his ministers that right under his watch ( looking away ), he could not see that Walter Francois did not have a Phd. He was so obsessed with Dr. Politics that Francois presented his credentials to him as a Phd when in truth Francois had a DHP ( Department of hypocrites in power).
Is this why Kenny gave M Rambally to be in charged of a cretical minisitry as Tourism? Didn't he check her credentials before doing so? Isn't this a bad case of degree politics made in hell?
Kenny was so obsessed with degree politics that he kept an honest man like Mr. lay on the beach while he allowed degree holding idiots to screw the country.

Yes you are so blind, deaf and dumb, the subject is about Jeanine but you have to bring Kenny in the equation. Kenny must be a threat to you, imagine Kenny is not even in office, and you are so concern about him. Why are you so afraid of Kenny? There is no government in St Lucia past or present who have not wasted our moneys, but you all tend to want to remember only want us to remember Dr Anthony.
To tell you the truth, i prefer to have Walter pretending to have a doctorate, but he has lower degree than we have a PM who NEVER went to school and nut heads like Guy Joseph, Ass in Jamce holding ministries.etc. If we could have all these air heads like Guy joseph, Ass ta Fan, Ass in James, Guy Mayers, Spida, monday zee, etc Tucker as ministers. I see nothing wrong with Menissa. Stop misleading people, Cecil Lay was offered a ministry and he said he did not want it. So go back with that, there are people who know the facts.
Stop trying to distract people from the real issues facing St Lucia today. The fact is we have a non performing, incompetent , corrupt now in performing government in office wasting our time and money. That is the subject we have to be discussing today, not Kenny who is OUT of office.
I see how sensitive you get when Kenny is brought into the equation. If this article is about Jeannine and Micoud why are you bashing King? The mention of Kenny isn;t distraction. What good is a politician with a "lower degree" if he has no character andintegrity and can't be trusted. St Lucia can do without people like Francois and Kenny!

I know very well my statement about Walter, would be taken up that is why i put it in there. Why should we remember Walter who lied more than a decade ago, who was fired from his position when discovered, and the work of the government continued. With all that, the people of Soufriere were satisfied with the performance of Walter and they would have still voted him back anyway. Let us look at what we have TODAY, we have a PM with no education who was HAND PICKED and imposed on our backs, taking the whole country to the ground. Which one is worse? We want to talk about integrity only when it comes to Walter, but we fail to see what is happening PRESENTLY under our noses. We have ministers who have lied in the High Court, we see ministers being convicted in the High Court, we see ex convicts in Cabinet, we have ministers being arrested for crimes, we have a minister suing his government, we see ministers stealing from government by under invoicing personal goods, we hear the PM lie to us at every turn, by promising so much that he cannot and know full well he cannot deliver. etc, etc i could go on and on.
The person who sad "yo toot say mem" when it comes to King and Kenny, is so untrue because only a blind, deaf, and dumb will ever compare King to Kenny. I will show some of the differences.
(1) King is an uneducated, confused, who can only read what is written for him and cannot come up with any good policy to take St Lucia forward.
(2) King is hand pick by Compton to by PM whiles Kenny is ELECTED by the PEOPLE.
(2) Kenny has a better team around him than King.
(3) kenny has developed the country whiles King is just there wasting our time and money, promising and not delivering, blaming everything for his incompetence etc.
(4) king has no control of his cabinet
(5) King is not respected in his cabinet, Jeanine said that.
(6) King will be a one term PM

The truth is, we have today, the very same Kenny Anthony from a decade again. He has not changed one bit.
Check your facts. Kenny reluctantly fired Walter Francois, only after he concluded that politically it would damage the SLP. Those of us who refuse to rewrite history will remember what Kenny did on the same day the news broke. Instead of humbling himself and asking Francois to do the same before the people of St Lucia, he headed over to Soufriere and organized a rally for Francois. There is heaped praise on a liar and later denouce the those wanted or were calling for Francois' resignation.
Imagine, Kenny was angry because the truth came up. The way he presented himself that night wasn't becoming of a good and upright leader.
I know you want us to believe that King is a monster. The truth, the biggest hypocrite and monster waiting to suck beat on the heads of St Lucians again is is none other than Kenny Anthony.
Don't think that case against him is not drafted as yet. Kenny can make all his noise for now, but say dareyear key nee!
You could talk all your nonsense about Kenny or Walter as you want, but the time is very short for us poor people to take that so called government off our backs. What you have to explain to us are the achievements of your UWP government if they have any. Tell us why they deserve to be re elected, talking about Kenny will not help the UWP cause, because nothing can take away Kenny achievements, they are all over St Lucia, for everybody to see, we all know them. Please, please, please, explain to us what has UWP done with our taxes to benefit the masses, in nearly a whole term, show us their achievements, i would like to vote for them but convince me they are viable. I do not believe a few desperate projects a couple of months before election will help them either, because we all know that is how the UWP operate to fool the masses just to win elections.
Above, the few desperate, short tern, hurriedly half arse, short sighted projects, laced with bobol, I am sure, undertaken just before elections are not financed by the government of St Lucia; they are financed by the DE-FACTO government of St Lucia, namely, the Taiwanese.
You see King and his cohorts has the slightest idea how to run a government? Talk about bobol, ex con, don, those who sell their patients medical records for profit, those lied under oath per the high courts and so on and so...thus, they are experts on those subjects ills par excellence!
I don't have to make a case for why they shouldn't not be re-elected. This is for people like Kenny and Prudent to do, and guess what, all I hearing from Kenny is and company is a lot of noise. My business and the business of all those who oppose Kenny's return is to lay the argument for why he shouldn't not receive a 2nd chance. This is what is more important to us not the papishow you spewing in here. I guess you never thought of it this way.
You are so desperate, you talking about Kenny given a second chance, not remembering Kenny and the SLP got TWO terms. Kenny himself is on his THIRD term as VF representative. You said it is Kenny job to make the case as to why UWP should not be re elected. BUt in the same voice you are saying he is making a lot of noise. I am glad for you, love King as you want, i do not hate King as a matter of fact i sat in same class with King in high school, the only school apart from Methodist primary i know he attended. my point is King did not prepare himself to be PM of the country, and we all could see it in his performance. He has not moved us one step forward. Trying to say he is honest or a good man, what ever you meant by that, is not sufficient to lead a country. Where has that honesty led us? Are we better off today than when king took over? Are we seeing any progress? That was what they promised us, so we elected them to do just that.
How do you prepare your self to be PM? By running away from St Lucia like Kenny did? Got himself a law degree? And all of a sudden he is capable of being the PM and the minister of finance?
Comon, who are you fooling. It's no wonder like someone said before he thought he had $45bucks in his pocket and not 45million.
It would much better if King had run away from St Lucia to get himself improved like Kenny didi. Instead of lazing around for more than a decade, St Lucia would have been better off today with him as PM. He would not have to be relying on Kenny or frederick to correct him each time he do not know his way around in the house of parliament. He would not have been disrespected by his ministers. He would not have to be reading only what is written for him. He would not be taking loans afters loans on our backs and none of us could see where the money is going. etc, etc.
but Kenny did the same thing. He run away, came back, and still had to take loan after loan. What have you to say for that!! And in taking loan after loan he even flush some out to others

You could go all around St Lucia and you will see what Kenny did with some of the money he borrowed. But can you show me anything King and the UWP is doing, or have done with the money they are borrowing? that is the difference. We all know SLP made some mistakes, as they all have made, but we all can see their works. The UWP under King have made all mistakes with no work to show.
