Written like a true backward St. Lucian. Thank God, you only made it to Agricultural Minister. St. Lucia would have been in worse shape, had it been different.
Josie must remember he is not only writing to St Lucians who were born recently, he is also talking to people like me who has followed his career for a long time. Talking about lie, Josie must tell us the truth, when he and his gang lied to the nation about the poor illitrate boys and girls who they were training as terrorist at Rat Islet Etc. Then Compton stopped them on the airport going to Libia for farther training. Josie and his gang lied to the nation saying they were students going to school on scholarship, where as some of them could not even sign their name. So until Josie clear that big lie, he has no credibility to demand anything from anybody about any lies.
So Sad to see what have become of Peter Josie and Rick Wayne. I wonder if he is being paid to write this rubbish that he peddles week in week out. How does he know that the other illegally parked vehicles would not have been ticketed had his friend Joe Smokes not assaulted the PC? Why was RF encouraging his friends and supporters to disobet traffic regulations? His two defenses were:1 "The shop owner and i have a good relationship, and he gave permission to park there". 2 "There were other ilegally parked vehicles, including Angel Broet". Eh bien Escoba!

Contrary to the assault on Mr Josie by prior commentators, I must agree with the request to make the contract public. Whereby we the citizens can analyze for ourselves, rather than hear from individuals simply looking out for their own interest.
We the citizens should not settle for "because I told you so" but rather be given the simple facts. We have been failed by both the current administration and opposition in that regard. Such actions equate to a perception of our ignorance and their superiority in their eyes.
I believe that I have been graced with the mental capacity to make informed decisions given the tools/facts necessary. Not decisions based on probable deception.
Frederick has the contract, let him make it public. Why is he holding it close to his chest?

To anonymous please extrapolate on "putting country first." How am I placing any one party ahead of country when I demand I be given the facts to make an informed decision. You it seem is incapable of applying your thought process to move forward; rather you seem heavily burdened by the dependence upon someone else for such.
I hold everyone to task (both the current administration and Dr Anthony) to provide the said contract for public perusal.
My choice of words used to communicate were acquired from Laborie Boys', St Mary's College, A'level and undergraduate and graduate studies. I sense some scorn in your tone; I beg that you engage higher learning into critical thinking to help make a difference.
Peter is right on both fronts and his wisdom should be appreciated by all regardless of political affiliation. St Lucians must not allow politics to overtake them and when sound reasoning is put forward we should address such reasoning rather than attack a man anonymously equating to cowardice.

How could someone applaud the wrongdoing of the legislature. What an amazing article to suggest that the police targetted the individual. Here is what well meaning people should tell members of the legislature: You are leaders you must set the example, indiscipline is high among the youths so please set the correct example. So if a member of the legislature recognises that other veheicles are illegal parked he should encourage the transgressors to stop not join them.....about the contract doesn't the government have a copy of the contract their renewed.....so who is holding up release of the contract. This article was nonsensical in construct, weak moral foundation and pathetic analysis....
Anonymous @8.07am why do you hide? Peter's main points regarding the issue is the police must use their better judgement as they have discretion to do, and that we hear much of it because a parliamentarian was involved (in an election year). Peter is in no way applauding wrongdoing but advocating that the police should exercise retraint and common knowledge when they're called for.
so because it is an election year the police should show discretion by not giving tickets to members of the legislature....what a brillant suggestion.....
Augustin Francois, what is your problem with anonymous people? The BLOG allows anonymous messaging so that readers can focus more on the MESSAGE than on the messenger. You are here berating the messenger, instead of analysing the message!! WHAT is your problem? Josie has written a message, and from people's analysis of the message, they have concluded that he is SINGING for SUPPER!!!!!!! What is wrong with that. And since you pretend to be concerned about the truth, why have you not tried to explain to the readers the reason why Acting Prime Minister King, or Minister Frederick, refuse to release the Report that they have in their possession??? Donna Jn Baptiste, I will boast about the higher learning I received from St Lucia's best institutions, for I am proud. And to entertain your ignorance, I was not there as a Janitor. May I hastily add that those are the same institutions which continue to produce many outstanding sons and daughters. I do hope that such privilege was exploited by you (and that you are grateful for the foundation).
So rather than spew insult, I beg that you explore different views and engage in intellectual discourse. May I also add even the janitors (who in your eyes are lowly) are worthy of praise for their contribution to a cleaner environment conducive to learning.
Maybe you seem to be derailed by my request that whoever holds the documents should make it public. Not sure where the misunderstanding is on that issue. It is up to us as citizens to demand that the government or anyone with the documents release them, rather than hold us hostage.

But you should STOP playing this game on the BLOG!!!! St. Lucians are not so STUPID anymore, even if they voted those MORONS, "Escobars", tax evaders, and Federal Prisoners into office. What you have failed to address, Laborian, and for some strange reason you insist on refusing to address, is the fact that over and over people have been asking WHY OH WHY is it that Escobar and King, who first introduced this matter to the public, and who complained about corruption in this matter, REFUSE to release the Report!! If that Report had indictable stuff on Kenny Anthony, or on any other former SLP government minister, it would already have HIT THE STREETS, and would even be lying around in the gutters of Laborie, Micoud and Castries.
