He cannot divorce himself from his past. His stint in the Grenada and Guyana Revolutionary Brigade made him a lover but not a skilled craftsman in journalistic distortion! I think he has no love for his country.

Its nice that Miss Paula.C is fighting 4 her interests every country does..but on this sole basis that chinese set up shop in stlucia is the direction our gov should take in resuming ties with Taiwan over China..is insufficient..
its true China maneuvres WTO ruling and national interests all major world blocs do likewise so China isnt the only culprit.. I may be wrong doesnt Trinidad sell petroleum,gas etc CHEAPER TO THE STATES than to us in the OECS? should we cut ties with them too..
its nice that we can get 2 for one with china they finace large projects and chinese companies set up shop and employ and do business in st lucia[MILLIONS YRLY] it is indeed nice that they the Chinese hasnt seen anything they want then i might say we in stlucia has to be very worried but until..

CHINA is a member of the Cbean Dev. Bank -correct me if i am wrong- or one of our other major lending banking institutions.. recently China has placed 1BILLION US Dollars for loan financing for those with ties to china in the region of course.. and even private companies can access it as well

Only in recent yrs is Taiwan a boost to our island.. in the hey days of uwp taiwan i believed DID NOT contribute NADA to stlucia. giving gov ppl money is outrageous China to the best of my knowledge hasnt done so..

I though you got it right when I mistakenly read:

I am in a big quandry over the years. I remember being told of the Bousquet brothers of the 50s and 60s and how much they played in politics of St. Lucia. Usually it was said in a positive context..

Then explain how we end up in the latter part of the 20th Centuey and beginning of the 21st with Rufus(aka Bruce Tucker)Bousquet and Earl "Senile" Bousquet !

Both contributing nothing but incompetence, hackism and a self centered negativity on the St. Lucian political scene.
