Maybe the star newspaper needed to be Engage so as to bring good journalism, and stop the biasness it has offered Especially last year Election.

ST.Lucia doesnt have any sizable facility to host or house reasonable conferences.. we have VIGIE airpor just losing money annually with limited flights at that and out dated terminal where as we could build a conference centres and theatre and malls, hotels and parks in that area as a spanking invitation to bring scores of conference meetings of all types..as castries will have its long awaited expansion because its surrounded by hills in every direction

Trinidad has now taken the lead as the regional leader in conference facilties i think stlucia if the gov has foresight can ask either China or Taiwan to help us build this in one specific area..

i know ppl keep saying "oh who wants to go all the way to hewanorra to travel" thats why we have a gov to put a proper taxi-transportation system in place and regulated bus fares and facilities.. the biggest challenge is the winding roads if only we could get a quicker way to vieux fort..

SO WE NEED TO WAKE UP AND THINK BIG.. OTHERWISE BELIEVING BAY GARDENS CONFERENCE FACILITY IS SUFFICIENT AND GREAT IS AN ILLUSION PPL

Good point last post..we are mising out on the MICE....Meeting, Incentives, Conferences and Entertainment segment of tourism. Allan Chastanet should have spent his 250 million dollars budget on a project like that.
