You better than me, You can see it a long way coming. To me, it ain't coming no way. Just wait for a change of government anywhere. What you will get is another chance to for them to talk about it. Fun time in the OECS is what this is. The ministers talking. That is all there is today. Talk. Talk. Talk.

i ve heard according to one source that the oecs office in st lucia has had difficulty paying their staff.. so instead of all that chatter which is a waste of time just put things into place.. i mean the european union are huge countries compared to us.

they are integrating annually on different issues i know it took yrs or even a couple decades but now things are swinging in europe .. with certain prejudices lingering among a fee EU countries its practically easy and free-up to travel in europe as a european..

On the otherhand the tiny little dots called OECS is struggling to integrate on basic stuff apart from buying pharmaceuticals as an oecs block and a few other innitiatives in sports, judiciary, we have yet to reach the level of integration and free movement at least i must admit finally there has been a start to free movement in the OECS.. hope it doesnt linger as do most gov snail pace initiatives do.. that 2012 can be a real year of advancement in the OECS.. i tend to be critical cause i am so disappointed in our govs but i will be the 1st to applaud the OECS which in my view is far ahead of CARICOM in getting things started..

What you fail to understand is the fact that those Islands are worlds within this world, and not a huge mass of land like Europe. They believe that because they are islands, they can stand alone.

i think they should really push this free movement as it would not only allow for the ease of travelling but also a chance for some of us to start a new life. there is good and bad in everything so don't expect things to be handed over just like that. however, i would also like to see more ferries travelling throughout the oecs which would also be quite helpful and cheaper than plane tickets.
