I'm so sorry to hear that John Bristol has passed" He was such a sociable person. He touched so many lives ... "It's part of God's plan." He is now in a better place

When I played basketball in St Lucia for the Green Parrot Prophets and also as Public Relations Officer for the Castries Amateur Basketball Assocition Hon John Bristol contributed much his time personally going with us players to the businesses around Castries to help raise funds for our team and the Association at the start of many B Ball seasons ... I had nuff respect for the man. Condolences to his family ... RIP Mr. Bristol.

Sincere condolences to the Bristol family. I will surely miss a great friend, father figure and caring gentleman who made time for everybody. He transcended the generation gap and was always willing to listen and offer guidance. My visits home will definitely be somewhat lacking as I will not be able to have drink and laugh with my friend.

The fastest walker in St.Lucian history. Mr Bristol was a wonderful, kind man, always interested in what was going on in the lives of the people with whom he interacted. Whenever he walked into a room, dapper, joyful and energetic, he made everyone smile. You will be sorely missed Mr. B!

@ 6:05 AM.....It's a shame you are not smart enough to know just how dumb you really are.I forgive you because you are a very shallow person your comment was absolutely unnecessary, horrific, reprehensible and despicable. You are a dirty and disgusting St.Lucian. I feel so sorry for your mom what a waste of oxygen.

I was working as a night auditor in 1973,when a visiting couple came to the front desk about 7:00am on a Sunday to enquire about the schedule for the catholic mass... I did not have that information.Suddenly,John B appeared in the lobby of the hotel.I posed the guest's question to him,and he had the answer for both the time and location for the services for the day. A few days later he brought me the schedules for the various denominations. That was the kind of guy he was. RIP John.

You mean in 2012 St.Lucia still have an idiot like the person who made that comment, feel sorry for you, you need help.

RIP John Bristol. It's a pity that the Party that you served so selfessly in and out of Government and whose members would know better than others of your contributions to community and national development could nominate you for only the Les Pitons Medal Bronze. There are otehrs who hhave done far less than you, who have received much high national honours. Be that as it may, all who knew you, know that you were a true patriot.

Mr. Bristol was one of the first people to wish me well when I became a reporter four years ago. Since then, he always gave me constructive criticism whenever I met him. I will miss him. Rest in peace, kind sir.

Stan it seems you have taken at least some if not all of John's advise. Continue writing as though he here and is still nudging you on. If you do so your writing must improve. I also hope your boss and some of your colleagues at the Voice read your comment on this great man.
