Bravo Peter-say it like it is

Yes Josie, after criticizing STEP, you ran out of gas. So you had to go back to it again.

That is all you have to offer after being a minister? See why nobody can associate you with anything positive that you brought to the country's political life?

We forget. Your strong suit is agriculture. But again, countries producing basic raw materials or are in primary production remain poor. So you have no advice or ideas for the country. You are so god damn irrelevant!

U ever see a big bird fly? Well I bet I that budget's wings are as heavy as Kenny's feet. Lol I guess the only set of economist who can agree with Kenny are those with no meaningful accomplishments in their llives. They know a lot about economics but can't make those policies work in their own lives. They remain as broke us a church mice. All they know is borrow and spend but can't put themselves to think of returns.

Kenny Gwen Tony economics.

What percentage of St. Lucian graduates have graduated with technical degree in Economics? And how many of those are independent of government hand-out in the public sector?

When primary schoolboy King agreed the non-starter of a finance package to rehabilitate the HIA, how many were able to point to the flaw? How many 'economists' like the two above spoke out?

Bla bla bla. - more hot air about your so called qualifications .

Anonymous said...

Hot air does not make a country prosper. Unless we have people who can identify independently or confirm independently the impacts of various government actions, we always will be left with utter nonsense comments as those at 5:07 and 8:17 PM.

Ego does not make a country proper and being a mr know all is damming to the national spirit. Learn to take your own advise and make sure it works for you before u try to pass it on to others.

Peter, What was your thesis? You could have written an informative piece taking a comparative approach. You were very lazy this time. You have earned a F for this article.

ABC said...

And you earned yourself for saying a F, it's an F you idiot.

ABC said...

Great article Peter Josie! Let the yard fowl beat their dead wings.

Anonymous said...

If you go to secondary school and come out with just one CXC, then your are a certified idiot, for truth.

Anonymous said...

Hey Jackarse

Don't knock down people who went to secondary school.

Anonymous said...

what a waste coming from a one time minister in SLU. U mean getting the step workers to own a home at this point should be the focus of a budget. Shame on u Peter. U failed to take the deficit, growth rate n the debt ratio in yur analysis. Try again Peter.

Anonymous said...

Peter Josie is right on the money. This budget is a yardfowl budget. It's time for us to get a life instead of depending on handouts.

Anonymous said...

Josie, than God I am not a yard fowl because if I was, I would have been at the trough. I am a strong believer of the philosophy a the true St. Lucia Labor Party which emphasized mental and economic freedom, high self-esteem and free to analyze critically the working of the Labor party and the Labor party government. Today, if one's analysis differs with the Kenny doctrine, you are an enemy of the SLP. If this doctrine was in effect during the leadership struggle in 1979, maybe there would be bloodshed among SLP supporters. The struggle was resolved without one drop of blood being shed.

yardie yardie yardie

What is the SLP philosophy? When you find that elusive joker fill me in...

Anonymous said...

U cyan read and understand?

Now Josie, dat en no kind of analysis. Boy you mean dat is all you can come up with after your training and time in parliament?

You really fool people we. You doh know nuttin bout budgets. Choops.

Anonymous said...

Once again what is the SLP philosphy?

@ 8:03 P M.....Why call the X Prime Minister a school boy? You symbolize the stupidity that many St.Lucians show. You have no right to disrespect the man you do not like him for political reasons only, because I doubt Mr King know you personal. You're a bigot. Wether he has done anything wrong has still to be decided. You nonetheless show your color by using defamatory words. Crawl back under your rock untill you have something smart to say which most likely will be NEVER.

Anonymous said...

@ May 21, 2012 11:13 AM

If the man has barely a secondary school or high school education, do you have faith that he will understand the complicated mattes that he has to decide on a day to day basis?

The trouble with backward countries is that ordinary people adore their ignorant leaders and don't call for better ones.

Only ignorant people worship those more ignorant than themselves. Theres is hope that may be one day soon, St. Lucians will find out that there is relationship between knowledge of managers and leaders have and the decisions they make. I am not holding my breath on this one. All I know is that I will prosper honestly no matter whichever the jackass is that the people elect as prime minister.

Shut your mouth your damn coward !!! If you believe you that good why not bring yourself forward for all of us to judge. All you keep doing is playing hide and seek and offering advise pluked out of other people's ideas. Stop hidding behind internet blogs and put your arse out there for everyone to see that you don't only talk the talk but walk the walk.

--Crawl back under your rock untill you have something smart to say which most likely will be NEVER.---

Don't wait for him to ever have any good thing to say. King might be a "schoolboy" but he ain't as EL LOCO as this condesending bigot.

This budget exposes the naked behinds of Looshans regarding any knowledge of running the business of the economy.

It shows how clearly such people like Josie fooled people into believing that knew something about running a government.

Poor chap so full of nothing to say, stepped over and over on the same STEP programme. He had nothing else to add. How empty these people's brains are. Such window dressing! Incredible!

Poor Helen! Lady, I feel your pain!

What convoys of jokers have we had as ministers and representatives passing for governments!

Shut up! Josie is more man than you are ever going to be. It's foolish to think that the pie in the sky Kenny presented is going to put a dent in the economic outlook of St Lucia. Process and fancy words isn't economics. Action is economics. Until then you are nothing but a loud sounding cymbal.

Anonymous said...

That's right! Mr. Josie have served his country.

Anonymous said...

Josie ran his mouth, not a government.

Anonymous said...

Josie ran his mouth to get a pension. Now that he is able to do just that, he is laughing at the large numbers of stupid people he was able to fool. You are right. If you know what I mean. That is what you call servicing the country in agricultural terms. He and George Hoodlum.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, but if it was not for Josie and George where would Kenny have been today. George was the one who first made Kenny the youngest minister of education. The history of the SLP as a party of agitators and struggle was written by George and Josie. You can't run away from your history.

Up too today SLP calling each order camrade? Where you think it came from? From George of cause.

Anonymous said...

I agree Mr. Josie, We have always entertained or shall I say tolerated yard-fowl politics in Ole Helen, and the same was true when you were there.

Anonymous said...

You mean George Hoodlum, the uglum.

Anonymous said...

Josie, it's quite ironic. Now that your eyes are dimming you can see sp much better that you see a yard fowl whenever you look at yourself in the mirror?

You couldn't see to tell Hoodlum, that it was crass behaviour to throw human waste at his political enemies. But now you are seeing yard fowls, uhn?

The same goes for King's, Frederick's, Mayer's, and Guy Joseph's and the ex-convict's yard fowls. Nobody in the blasted UWP cabinet had the minimal moral competence to say that enough was enough.

Shut up, Josie! Shut up-p-p-p-p-! You have shredded your credibility a long time ago!

I was amazed at the quality of debate in the upper house. Both sides of the house presented very well with much commendation going to Dr. Ubaldus Raymond and Dr. King.

Dr. Raymond and Dr. king are clearly the winners of the debate. I would like to thank Dr. Raymond for his informative stance on VAT, capital expenditures etc.I concur with Senator Ezecheil Joseph who labeled the moment as a learning and enlightening one, and I think most if not all St.Lucians would agree.

If Mr.King is correct that Dr. Raymond is a UWP reject then he must be ashamed of that statement since they could have benefited from this man's wealth of knowledge and skills in economics...too bad, and too late.

Dr. Raymond's presentation in the house forces me to conclude that this man should be used in a capacity where he can make greater contribution to our country, and not simply as a Parliamentary Secretary.

Berthia Parle must also be commended for her brilliant presentation focusing on the tourism industry. Kudos to all the members in the upper house. Andy Daniel won the debate for the opposition side.

Anonymous said...

The Senate with more learned men and women, is always supposed to make better presentations than those elected in the Lower Chamber. But this does not happen when it is populated with yard fowls like the UWP has consistently done!

Anonymous said...

That must change Blogger. We need better representation at both levels. Bravo to three individuals Dr. Ubaldus Raymond, Dr. Stephen King and Dr.Flethcher but the award goes to Dr. Raymond...he was by far the most knowledgeable, unbiased, objective of all the presenters.

Anonymous said...

That is why in the British parliamentary system, the House of Lords otherwise known as the Upper Chamber, with its depth of expertise with experts in many disciplines and fields and the SLP has convincingly demonstrated, always sends bills back down to the Lower House for amendments.

This to correct what the 'innocents' may have been ignored or missed.

The only bills that our senators like the House of Lords, cannot veto are finance bills. That is because members of the Upper House or Chamber, like our senators are not elected members.

For the first time in a very long time, the Senate has acted out its proper role as the voice of reason and enlightenment.

Anonymous said...

I am proud to say I am St.Lucian with such quality representations in the upper house. Commendation to all the Senators for they all presented beautifully.

A special commendation goes to Dr. Raymond and Dr. King...they were by far the best presenters in the Senate. This only encourages me to aim for the very best in everything I do as a young person. Thank you gentlemen for a job well done!

yardfouls?..is this your best analysis of the budget? Stop the ranting and put your cliches to rest. The people want ideas on how they can become self-sufficient. Peter, this is the 21st century!

Depending on Kenny is no way to be self-sufficient. In that sense Peter is right.

Yes indeed the upper house continue to make us proud. The presenters were very good but much praise must be showered on Dr. Raymond and Dr. King for the much appreciated unbiased and objective presentations. Bravo Gentlemen you represented well!

Now Peter Josie comes to say appointing Menissa Rambally to the post of Ambassador is great because she is such a brave soul unlike Kenny who ran away after 1982.

Brave ? The little coward Menissa Rambally who ran away after she lost in 2006 and did not appear until just before elections so she could get a post for a good party hack. Who said she went to STUDY but no one can say where ?
The only value Menissa ever had was to brown nose Kenny - her father figure.

The feminist who goes on the program of an accused rapist to announce her new post !

Menissa is the same incompetent who was minister under whose portfolio the NCA was such a disaster !

What was the relationship to her of the person who audited the NCA under the mismanaging SLP ?

Bitter days are here again as Menissa Rambally goes up to promote all the anti Christian views of the UN to support SLP abortion, homosexual and prostitution policies !

Thank you Fredericks, Stephenson King and Rufus Bousquet for the venal way you all ran a morally corrupt government so that we lucians have to get back the inept kenny and tony and phillip pierre.

I have met investors who have come to St. lucia and immediately left.

They cannot take the mayhem on the road. The lack of work ethic. the rudeness and lack of class in St. Lucia.

Combine that with the socialist, liberal, progressive views of the Labour party and the electorate and we will continue to go backwards.

I don't see any real economic analysis from what Josie has written up there which leads one to ask whether or he bought his degree from a paper mill.
