I don't see the big deal in this. Kenny should focus on bringing better days instead of wasting his time with Caricom.

It's all about nothing!

And next time how about another picture that is not from 1997.

I am sorry, if its too much for you to swallow, your problem...Kenny and Labour are here to stay. Give Lucia an alternative as leader of the opposition, then my position will be different. As long as this overweight buffon is the leader of the opposition...need I say more?

Please answer the following question honestly.
Do You Trust Kenny Anthony to be the leader in any organization?

Why the hell is this man taking off from taking charge of running his country's business to spend down time with clueless PMs from what? CARI-GO?

Or is it boring burdensome CARGO?

What a bloody waste of time and money. How much did this god damn talk shop cost us the taxpayers in Saint Lucia?

IT IS TIME FOR SAINT LUCIA TO TAKE A LOWER PROFILE IN CARICOM AND CSME.

The cost of these darn things are too damn high compared to the benefits for Saint Lucians.

These things are one massive joke and con game, but nobody is laughing except Trinidad.

Sort ti la. Sacway coyon!

U think everybody that say something about Kenny is because they jelous.

The position given to Kenny is not worth the paper it is written on. The man could hardly manage St Lucia. Why waste his time in trying to manage a hopeless caribbean organization.

Kenny needs a life!!

Kenney Anthony and Philip La Corbiniere are very busy these days reading and blocking emails of out-spoken citizens trying to exposed abuse and corruption.

Anonymous said...

Last two bloggers why don't you find a life, instead of critisising kenny and the rest of his cabinet members. The time you all are taking to write all your crap, why didn't you go up to make a difference at the last elections?

Anonymous said...

Look who is talking about abuse and corruption. You are mistaken. Those two words are for the previous government. Say sar ou kni pou vaeyea. Sar kwee situese.

Kenny create a legacy.

Stop wasting our puny resources on foolish organizations like CARICOM and CSME.

Forget the foolishness of the past.

Leave CARICOM and CSME now!

Anonymous said...

The good thing is that this position comes with a private jet.

Anonymous said...

Time to bailout of CARICOM and CSME that those foolish PMs have danced the minuet around for years.

Knock off the bullshit. Get us out of this useless crap.

Anonymous said...

Kenny you are the midwife to a colossal failure called CSME.

Why must Trinidad and Guyana get more out of CSME than Saint Lucia?

Should this nonsense be allowed to exist? Hell no!

Redeem yourself.

Get your country, if you are to ever be considered a patriot, out of this god damn mess!

Quickly!

There is no god damn glory in being a fifth columnist!

Get out of CARICOM!

Anonymous said...

So now the failure at the WICBC is returning to his roots with a job with this failed SLP administration ? What a laugh !

Anonymous said...

Nonfeasance or the failure to act is a legitimate charge for not removing Saint Lucia from CSME and CARICOM.

Saint Lucians have not one single thing to point to as a benefit arising out of membership of these two godforsaken bodies except as recreation activity for government ministers.

thinktank said...

i lost all my interest in Caricom when CSME was proposed & the timeline of its supposed implementation. they said it would have been in 2008 that all regional islands could travel without hindrance, passports. We would have access to purchase land in any territory, work anywhere..WHAT HAS BECOME OF THOSE JOKEEY PROMISES...Look at the EU. these are huge countries with so many issues but they are more efficient in doing things as a whole & we the ppl are the SHELL being carried along on a snail's back..

All these PMs & PRSDTS are laughing & drinking exp wines, cavier & a free stay at Sandals Grande..in this recession..imagine that

Keny Anthony is the Mini -me of Jugo Chavez and Raul Castro combined!

Anonymous said...

The emperor has no clothes!

CARICOM and CSME heads have had a very very lo-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-n-n-n-g-g-g-g-g history of coordinating a lot of nothing.

If they come up empty-hand again, as is their wont, they will be blissfully continuing their wonderful and perennial magic and wizardry.

I have never seen or heard of another group of cynical so-called leaders as these Caribbean frauds!

Real people ... even yardfowls like you, doh exist on sweet talk and happy talk.

Get a frigging life! You god damn SLP idiot!

De Prime Minister of Saint Lucia has no god damn negotiating skills. That is why every time he negotiates a business deal Saint Lucians lose their patrimony, money and treasure and have to borrow to cover for his continuous egregious losses!

Participation in CARICOM and CSME have brought us very similar results. Hey! What do you expect from the pack of jokers in the jokey organization called CARICOM anyway?

Kenny is the creator and is famous for egregious financial black holes. This man does not know the value of money. He does not respect the blood, sweat and toil of taxpayers. He makes his money just to easy.

Under his watch, money just keeps on evaporating like ether, with nothing to show for it. Let's line up some examples, Roachamel, Black Bay, Grynberg and NCA to name a few.

Where is the logic and wisdom of making him chairman of anything, even of the SLP?

Heaven help us with five more years of this King Midas in Reverse!

Anonymous said...

It seems to me that the people blog should apply to be chairman

Anonymous said...

Kenny claim he was elected as a brand new man, but if seem to me that he look more like a brand new second hand.

SLP is into their 3rd consecutive term. Same difference from the 1st and the 2nd.

What's next????

CARICOM official warns about duty free access for EU goods

Speaking to the media during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, New Kingston, the Guyana-based Secretary General said Caribbean Forum countries (members of CARICOM plus the Dominican Republic) should not sit back and allow the European Union (EU) to push countries into honouring their obligations under the European Partnership Agreement (EPA).

Under the agreement, signed in 2008 between the Caribbean Forum (CARIFORUM) and the EU, CARIFOUM countries agreed to start the reduction of customs duties on a number of catergories of Euroipean goods by January 2011. However, according to a report out of Belgium last week, the EU has been growing impatient with the pace at which this is progressing.

LaRocque told the media that the CARICOM secretariat was assisting member states of in "getting the correct legislation drafted" but noted that the bigger problem was that member states feared loss of revenue from lowering the tariffs.

"But the EU has sounded out and it is an international obligation," said LaRocque. "It's an obligation that was entered into by the community by the member states who signed on to the EPA. And the EU has raised it. They have heard of the (fiscal) challenges that are being faced by members. They have not taken any action on it. I think they are making some soundings which we must listen to and be a little more certain in trying to do what we are supposed to do," he added.

He said the secretariat, which has an EPA unit comprised of four highly skilled persons, was "very much involved" in discussions on the reduction in duties and working constantly with member states.

Euro zone crisis is a nightmare for Saint Lucia!

http://www.thevoiceslu.com/let_and_op/2012/july/03_07_12/Euro.htm

Should the euro and the pound sterling continue in its devaluation so will Saint Lucia. The continual stalled projects, layoffs, and low visitor arrival are just the tip of the ice berg and should agricultural exports to Europe begin to decline - the basket will drop.

In the 1970’s similarly dilemmas of inflation, cut throat taxes, senseless borrowing, increased food and energy price, and even shortages were often encountered.

The difference with this new global challenge is that it is a more sophisticated brand; and one that is coupled with greed and runaway expenditure.

Politicians , the academics and media are all in collusion and support each other in destroying the Caribbean..

The previous Chairman of CARICOM was implicated in serious trangressions in his country. The worst you can imagine.

The present Chairman has Grynsberg, NCA of Menissa Rambally, Rochamel, Hellinite and a host of other issues where his crazyness and incompetence was there for all to see.

So we have to listen as these hopeless, clueless incompetents call the shots.
