Our politicians fail fundamentally because we draw our representatives from a pool of jackasses each and every time. Also we draw our representatives from a spineless population that firmly believes that every khaki-coloured person is a white person and that gives them a divine right to lead because their race gives them superiority of intellect and economic power.
Today, many Vieux Fortians believe that God gave them a white man, Mr. Anthony, as their saviour.
He egregiously blundered with Roachasmell, Black Bay Lands, and now famously with Grynberg.
Compton, had such a low opinion of St. Lucians, he brought in foreigners while he kicked out and humiliated smart St. Lucians like Hunter J. Francois out of this party.
He replaced those with broomsticks, like the Fairty and the Bousquet Bros.
He even went further to bring in a drug lord into a cabinet position as a well-known to him, US jailbird into the party.
Compton named or titled almost everything he did after him, highways, dams etc.
Like our hordes of the undereducated under Fairty, idiots like Josie sat there and said absolutely nothing.
How more stupid can St. Lucians get. St. Lucia is idiot country!
The same reasons you highlighted in you usual mouth diarrhea, are the same reasons , YOU, PETER JOSIE, failed miserably as a politician.
Should the euro and the pound sterling continue in its devaluation so will Saint Lucia. The continual stalled projects, layoffs, and low visitor arrival is just the tip of the iceberg and should agricultural exports to Europe begin to decline -- the basket will drop.
This is fundamental, as most of the big socio-economic risks originate from the political process.
Saint Lucia is running out of time to attract investments from both our local and emerging markets. And when all is said and done, there is no other way to create the necessary jobs that will pay down the national debt and turn around the nightmare that Saint Lucians face on a daily basis in this fiasco economy.
Our people have no sense of social responsibility and vision. Everything is now for now. As long as we vote for the party of our parents all will be well, if not now in the next five years.
Every five years we change the parties even if we elect jailbirds, morons, drug lords, drunks, complete country-bookey buffoons.
Each party therefore gets a turn to do worse than the last group. Borbol, corruption, nepotism, victimization, jobs for the boys, contracts for the supporters and family.
What a set of backward ignorant country-bookey people we are!
Josie the so-called leaders you talk about can only emerge from the people, ALTHOUGH JACKASS SAINT LUCIANS WORSHIPED A TIN GOO CALLED COMPTON EXTRACTED FROM AN ISLET OFF ST. VINCENT.

Look at Britain, it remains part of Europe up to a point. The Eurozone is in trouble.
Britain is on the outside, like the Bahamas in CARICOM and 'feels' sorry for the god damn European mess.

Peter Josie keeps on meandering around the solutions for St. Lucia's problems. He senses the truth but cannot QUITE put his finger on the solutions.
The reason is that (and I am not trying to be nasty as is the wont of St. Lucians)Peter comes from a failed ideological and philosophical background and environment that is destroying Western Civilization and the Caribbean. He on the inside looking out and cannot see the forest for the trees.
In the reality of the liberal/socialist/progressive world words and facts have no objective standing; they are relative, socially constructed, a way to advance personal reality.
So Kenny (as a rabid social progressive and fiscal tax, borrow and spend crazy) says what he wants and can do the opposite as long as it advance the personal "Tony" agenda.
With no right or wrong but just a personal agenda also driven by a unstable leftist agenda, he is just like Obama where nothing works and there is no objective answer for any problem.
The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Just like in the USA, in EU Zone and in the UK Western Civilization is looking over the cliff in dispair but they cannot see the problems or solutions because the solutions are based in the Judeo Christian tradition which the leftists are on the verge of destroying.
That is why the filthy ones on this board can attack a Father Clovis so viciously because this is the aim of the Left. Everything based in the 10 commandments has to go is their aim.
Peter, teach the children well,set good examples and, they will growup to be good citizens. For example: I'm not worried about President Obama losing to Romney as much as I'm worried over the american people making another stupid mistake as they did when they elected George Bush.
