What the hell? What's happening on this island?

Witch conferences, obeah, voodoo, witch craft etc.

This will come to an end.

GOD is in charge. Yesterday, today and forevermore.

Which "witch, obeah, voodoo and witchcrat" conferences? Here in Saint Lucia? who were heading those gatherings? Provide some evidence to substantiate your claims. God is still in charge yesterday today and tomorrow.

This is so sad. WE NEED to put an END to this. My sincere condolence goes out to her family. May she rest in perfect peace.

I pray for her family to cope with their loss and that the perpetrator be brought to justice!

Witch conferences in St. Lucia. Check by the Newspapers and the people right here in the Boulevards, you can get all the answers you need.

But I realize that you know full well what I am referring to, so you taking in front, before in front take in front of you. Stand still and see the salvation of Jehovah Jireh.

Tanto Tanto. You will soon see.

As a frequent visitor to St. Lucia, I find it disturbing that the crime rate seems to be escalating. It is indeed sad that persons simply cannot walk the streets without some demented fool taking lives. As someone from another part of the Caribbean, I wonder when did we become such a depraved people. It wasn't so long ago that you could actually enjoy your home island, not so anymore. There is a wave of insanity taking over and it will only get worse. I must say however, that this and the other murders uncovered in the last couple of days will not deter my visits to the island.

Women are often times victims of these horrific crimes. It might just be somebody that she knew who attacked her. It might be a nasty thing too suggest but women will definitely have to arm themselves and not be afraid to defend themselves when the need arise. Perhaps women will do well not to walk alone at nights. Ranting and raving about the spate of crime never does any good. Crime is very real and so we will have to find ways of protecting ourselves. We cannot expect the Police to be everywhere, but we can protect ourselves against this evil. Let the women of St Lucia get together and decide. Do we die crying, or do we go down fighting! There has got to be a way we could stop our women dying like this.

We would like to get rid of all the sick criminal elements in our society. We would like to employ 24 hour Police surveillance of all our neighbourhoods, but these solutions are unrealisitc. we would also like to call down damnation on every son of a mother who commits these horrendous acts. But that too is not a very plausible solution. Hanging 'em high does not solve the problems we are facing with crie today. So we strategize and come up with the best possible way to protect ourselves. Let us please live for and by each other. Let us look out for one another. Let us be mindful of each other so that we are aware of each other's whereabouts and take it upon oursleves to act upon our concerns when we think something is wrong whether it be so or not. Criminals have a certain mindset, and we haveto put ourselves in the criminals minds to thwart their activities. One of the best ways for women to protect themselves is to walk in groups. Three is best. They ought to be able to think fast and think critically. Then women ought to arm themselves with their weapon of choice whenever they know they have to walk alone and do not be afraid to use it when they have to. It is the best way. Women simply have to stop being fearful for an attacker thrives on fear. Come on St Lucian women it's time for us to start defending ourselves above all else and by any means necessary.

Forget about the police! Protect yourself and your family; and the best way to do so is to form community surveilance patrol groups. Also compile as much information as possible on the bad guys; so when something goes wrong you know on whose doors to knock,Italian style!
