Peter give writng a break-dont quote mondersir about anything--he is on record as the worst minister of health for st.lucia to date.now he has all the answers. What did he accomplish as health minister??NADA

Mondesir car senti plis par say car-car pool.

Mondesir ain't nobody to reference. Shut, he stinks more than ccar-car-poole. I mean hen's shit.

Speak for yourselves. Actually, by my calculation, Alvina seems to be way below Mondesir in the position of Minister of Health. She lacks a clear vision and does not possess the ability to think independently.

ILANMAN said...

Assuming that both former Ministers are correct, shouldn't we ask the same question, "Where is de Money"

Anonymous said...

For some 40 years now there has been a glaring marginalization of each and every cabinet member save the prime minister. And that is largely because the prime minister has arrogated to himself the portfolio of minister of finance. This is so, even when is patently clear that the prime ministers know sweet f&^^&q-all about either finance, business or management.

Besides, it is obvious that the notion of the prime minister being 'first among equals' in Saint Lucia is a cruel joke being perpetrated on a mass of idiots in the population.

Not even the jackass weekly columnists refer to the constitution when they write.

The depth of ignorance running throughout this country is uncomfortably pathetic. A country should not be cursed with so many retards.

Congratulations to you, Peter. Continue to help us ask those pertinent questions. We need answers from elected officials. I noticed that Kenny does not like to account nor answer questions from the opposition and the general public. This sad state of affairs means that a democracy is going down the drain in Saint Lucia. So to avoid a catastrophe let us ask questions and demand answers. Let the world see and know what's happening here. Thanks again.

Where de money gone? Me think it's going in the pockets of certain people. It ain't in no briefcase this time.

Well done Josie.

Many, many, many questions have been asked about Kenny Anthony's ignorance about governance over the years.

From Rochamel, to firing Senators, the firing of Sarah Flood Beaubrun, to cost overruns, to the NCA Scandal, to the Hellinites Affair and the selling of government property worth millions under the Kenny Anthony Administration, to the unilateral signing off on St. Lucia's exploration rights by one individual, to the scitzsophrenic attack on the Taiwanese, to the anti VAT to pro VAT stance in a matter of months.

This is a real Kenny and Tony type of governance, snake oil salesman governance, "6 for a 9' governance.

Bitter Days are indeed here again.

The Constitution provides for the Prime Minister of the country to be Minister of Finance. It's a good idea. Thus an incompetent Prime Minister can also be an incompetent Minister of Finance. A high level of education hardly makes an incumbent competent as Minister of Finance or as Prime Minister.

Anonymous said...

The bastardization of democracy. A mock-stick of a errand boy made Minister of Health elevated way way beyond his level of competence and wrapped up in the mantle of Prime Minister. Did Saint Lucians ever remove the wrapper to inspect the goods underneath?

Then we have a 6 for a 9. That man has hardly ever distinguished himself even his strongest suit as a lawyer. Yet the ignorant believe that his doctorate in law makes him more than eligible to run a Ministry of Finance.

The financial toll is hard to swallow. Rochamel, $45 million, Blackbay, $68 million, Oil Drilling fiascom, claim of damages of $200 plus.

That man is losing money and mortgaging the future of Saint Lucia geometrically.

Can we afford more of this crap in exchange for the UWP Ali Baba?

Both parties are in the various media pushing with redoubled vigour, unending crap as leaders.

Anonymous said...

But as usual Kenny will simply stay silent on all the "cost over runs", "financial infilicities" "management errors".

Then the UWP will come in and do nothing to uncover the inficilities because they themselves will be "cooking the books" and talking, taknig and travelling !

Bitter Days are indeed here again !

King is a better Prime Minister than Kenny. Whereas Kenny has a higher level of education but he lacks humility, compassion and a sense of accountability. The St. Lucian voters are still in love with the trappings of mental slavery - skin-colou, education without sense, sweet-talk,etc. We will be doomed unless we learn to think as a nation, not as selffish individuals.

When will we face the fact that we vote for politicians who mimic who we are. King and Kenny are no different that we are.

Many of the people who quarrel about Kenny would themselves do the same if in power. That is why they will really not do too much about opposing him. Just like Kenny they will not care one bit about St. Lucians but just look after themselves and ensure their political goodies.

Many who quarrel about King would also do the same as him. They would not care about the criminality going on around them as long as they stayed in power. They would just wake up every morning thinking of how to stay in power.

Even when St. Lucians write about Kenny and Phillip's incompetence they do not talk about the lies or disregard for any principle or the general lack of character and their arrogance but only about the very obvious things like Rochamel etc.

It makes no difference that Kenny got paid over $500,000 from 2006 -2011 yet was so arrogant and lacking in class that he did not honour any of his commitments as head of the PAC or even to attend official functions because of sheer hubris at having to play second fiddle to King.

His lack of character and sheer ingratitude and arrogance we do not care about. all lucians care about is their own pound of flesh which they think they can get if their party is in power.

We would not even recognize a great leader even if we saw him or her - so all this talk is a waste of time.

The Chilean-St. Lucian Connection
Part 1:
The Socialist Party of Chile (Spanish: Partido Socialista de Chile, or PS) is a political party within the center-left Coalition of Parties for Democracy. Like the Communist Party of Chile (Spanish: Partido Comunista de Chile) the PS embodies Marxism enriched by scientific and social progress.

Both political parties envision a new socialist state only can be born of the initiative and the revolutionary action of the proletariat masses. -Their socialist doctrine is of an international character that requires the support of all the workers of the world. The Socialist Party will support their revolutionary goals in economics and politics across Latin America in order to pursue a vision of a Confederacy of the Socialist Republics of the Continent, the first step toward the World Socialist Confederation.

Although right wing Christian Democrat Party of Chile leader Miguel Juan Sebastián Piñera Echenique won the 2009 -2010 presidential election by 51.61% of the vote breaking two-decades of center-left political leadership and becoming the first elected right-wing leader in 52 years, the remnants of Socialists and Communist ideology still remains a powerful political force to be reckon with to day.

Banco Central de Chile reported exports from Chile increased to 7714 USD Million in December of 2012 from 6674 USD Million in November of 2012, It should be noted Chile's economy is highly dependent on international trade. Exports account for about 42% of its GDP. Chile has traditionally been dependent upon copper exports; the state-owned firm CODELCO is the world's largest copper-producing company whereas the most important non-mineral exports are forestry and wood products, wine, fresh fruit and processed food, fishmeal and seafood. Chile imports petroleum and petroleum products, chemicals, electrical and telecommunications equipment, industrial machinery, vehicles and natural gas.

The Chilean-St. Lucian Connection Part 2:
While most St. Lucian’s are a very busy and frustrated over making ends meet with a 15% VAT monkey strap to their backs recently implemented by Prime Minster Dr. Kenny Anthony aka Dr. Evil, it appears no one on this beautiful 238 square mile rock is paying any attention to Dr. Evil’s recent clandestine trip to Chile.
Interestingly enough the St. Lucian media houses one in particular The St. Lucia Star appears to be missing in action when they should be demanding Dr. Evil answer the following questions about his trip:

•Did the already enslaved and over taxed St. Lucian people paid for Dr. Evil’s trip to Chile?

•What business, trade or culture relations a tiny island in Caribbean could possible have in common with this Latin American country located on Pacific Ocean almost to the tip of the South American Continent, when its principle export and economic interests are with the European Union, United States, Japan, China and South Korea?

•Will the St. Lucian people benefit or reap any economic fruits from Dr. Evil’s super secret trip to Chile?

•Did Dr. Evil scam the St. Lucian treasury into paying for his travel expenses just to visit his communist comrades?

I call on the Hon. Steven King leader of the opposition to demand in writing from Dr. Evil a complete list of all his activities to include names of Chilean government officials he meet with on behalf of the St. Lucian people, he must include his complete itinerary during his entire stay in Chile.

The Chilean-St. Lucian Connection. I found your blog interesting. I wish, however, you give readers more information on Dr. Evil's trip to Chile. Give us names of people or organizations he met.

Try not to read too much into Kenny's evasion of responsibility, failures, and incapacity to address the prime ministerial problems facing Saint Lucia.

He is enjoying the perks of office with joy rides all over the globe. He should continue do so.

But like what a bottle is to an alcoholic, should we not expect another escape from reality with yet another and very unproductive trip? Shouldn't that read unproductive swig?

Where D money gone Kenny Gwen Tony?

Anonymous said...

You mean Kenny Anthony is now doubling up relationships with guys who treat their citizens like "dogs"?

FIRSTLY, CHAVEZ FROM VENEZUELA,
Then Fidel Castro of Cuba; and now The guy from Chile?

And on behalf of whom? St. Lucians.

Has Kenny reported to us on his trip to Chile?

The general public must protest against the funds from the treasury which went down the drain and demand that the Minister for Finance responsible for those losses to pay them back. Namely:

Rochamel :$45 million.

Black Bay :68 million

Grenberg Oil Drilling: $200 milliion plus.

Now that's callousness.

We cannot afford to throw that kind of millions down the drain.

Kenny must be made to pay back all, every bit of our monies back to the Treasury.

Peter please, don't ask the PM "WHERE THE MONEY GONE"

Anonymous said...

The issuue here is not Mondesir but where the money gone?

Anonymous said...

The prime minister does not understand value.

We are continuing to have financial problems and these egregious financial problems will continue to re-occur, simply because the PM does not understand the concept of money.

NOWHERE IN THE PRIVATE SECTOR would a CEO make such humongous financial blunders of Rochamel, Black Bay and Greenberg and still be retained.

The board, the equivalent of the Cabinet of equals in government, and the ordinary shareholders, the equivalent of the voting public WOULD HAVE DEMANDED HIS OUSTER!

We had Rochamel. Nothing happened to the person who engineered the egregious blunder.

We had Black Bay. Still nothing.

We have Greenberg. Again nothing.

The losses have been growing --- not in arithmetic proportions, but in geometric proportions!

One can only surmise, that if the PM had had a good grasp of the concept of money, the Prime Minister would have long time ago, fired the Minister of Finance!

Anonymous said...

The prime minister has a very good grasp of the concept of money; his knowledge is not the problem. The problem is his attitude, the very flippant way he regards us. He thinks and believes that he is superior to us and we are his minions doing biddings. If we alow him to continue this trend he will turn this country up-side down in the next five years. I fear for the people and country.

Anonymous said...

No blogger, I beg to disagree with you, in terms of saying Kenny Anthony thinks that he is superior. I posit that he is suffering from a serious bout of inferiority, stemming way back from his boyhood days.

His attitude in my view illustrates more traits of an individual who has a serious inferiority complex.

Notice how he treats his siblings?

Anonymous said...

Psychology tells us that a person who exhibits a superior attitude is, in fact, showing that he has an inferiority complex. Of course because of the split personality such a person can be dangerous at the best of times. A leader with such personality is VERY dangerous.

Anonymous said...

Blogger @ 5: 17 PM, how does he treat his siblings? He gives them good opportunities- especially the businessman at Vieux Fort and his cousin in Anse Ger. They're already millionaires.

Anonymous said...

Is the PM a foreigner? all these red niggers have had it too good in St.Lucia.Time for a change!

Anonymous said...

Kenny, as PM you have the responsibilty to stop the irresponsibility, the abdication of responsibilty, the lack of accountability, and increasing financial losses flowing from the absolute incompetence of the Minister of Finance.

If you can understand any of this, stop the red ink. Fire the Minister of Finance!

Sorry, it looks like some things have changed somewhat. Nonetheless, check out the rest. He is probably changed to these two, because they were all out to embarrass him in a very formal manner.

Is a Vincy classified as a foreigner? If yes then we may assume that Kenny is a foreigner.

Anonymous said...

From Compton to Kenny, each and every time the island gets screwed there seems to be a Vincy behind it.

Josie is the best person to know where the money gone. It gone in your pocket, that is why you are asking this silly question

Any god damn prime minister who had the nation's interest at heart, who had any sense of national purpose, and who understood quite clearly what it takes to shoulder the responsibility that comes with effectively managing our affairs, would have long ago CREATED and INSITUTIONALIZED a MECHANISM, that would:

a) Have a review board to overseer the multi-million financial agreements being entered into with investors and associated contracts,

b) Have a parliamentary body to keep GOVERNMENT SPENDING WITHIN THE PARAMETERS OF THE ANNUAL BUDGET, as so does Candada and Australia, and

c) Bolster and rejuvenate the PAC, to enable MEANINGFUL accountability and transparentcy of government operations regarding the contracting process.

SLP's is no god damn better than UWP's 30 plus years in office in this regard.

Unfortunately, we have only seen, since the past 40 years, half-&*%$ Ministers of Finance who perpetually endanger the sustainability of the country moneywise and locking us in a poverty trap!

How in the name of sanity can we have a Finance Minister who loses $45 million with nothing to show for it with the Rochamel "destruction of capital", then another such etherization of millions of dollars with the Black Bay ineptitude given the glaring misnomer of an 'investment', and now a pending lawsuit earmarked to cost the people of this country a potential $200 million plus?

Mr. Prime Minister, put an end to this unending crap and buffoonery. Rescue your legacy.

Fire the Minister of Finance!
