Most of the opposition elected so-called parliamentarians are no smarter than monkeys in a suit.

After hearing the DPM on the issue of a "cultural attache" to Martinique, it became clear why he's always a groomsman and never the groom. To support the addition of such an unnecessary post, in trying economic times, is a classic endorsement of BS--pardon my French.

Truth is for decades we've benefited from a functional cooperation with Martinique. Not only do we already have an ambassador to the French isle, SLU has a French Embassy and the Alliance Francaise. Why then do we suddenly need a cultural attache?

Have SLP ever heard of the concept of benefit/cost analysis?

All of that preamble was only so you could take a shot at Guy Joseph. Did you hear the apology given by the Traffic Department to Guy Joseph and Richard Frederick? Why should all Parliamentarians not have access to parking near the House of Parliament, during the Budget debate? Can you disprove what Guy Joseph said that he did not park the vehicle himself and that it was parked by a policeman? So what then is wrong with what Joseph said? Wheel and come back again, Micah.

Blogger above, it's Joseph and Montoute who were involved, not Frederick and Joseph. But I agree with your points. This was all a storm in a teacup.

Saint Lucia's politicians and politics suck!

Mi ro-ro. Sad country indeed. Sinking deeper and deeper in deep doo-doo.

We speak of prudent spending but refuse to scale back on excesses. None of the explanations - proffered by the Ministers for Infrastructure and Foreign Affairs - justifies the installment of a cultural attache to Martinique.

True! True! True!

The prime ministry is still on his orgy of financial waste and jobs for the boys.

That is a hell of a lot of frigging vision.

I think Micah is doing much harm to his own professional standard and journalism in general when he writes with such undisguised bias. Perhaps he has something personal against Guy Joseph. He seems not to be a supporter of the United Workers' Party. However he must not allow those sentiments in his writings. The reader demand a higher standard of journalism.
