Saint Lucia’s Foreign Policy to be Strengthened

Much ado about nothing.

We have a punitive VAT regime without any respite, high unemployment, no job creation nor ecosystem. Yet, with square pegs in wrong holes we have a focus on foreign policy?

SLP must be loaded with mad people?

Why is the leadership so dense?

Hunting for Red-herrings, indeed.

Now, instead of focusing on foreign Policy at a time such as this, why not forming a policy for local employment into alignment with whatever financial resource you may have. ( if you have any left)

What contribution are you partisan fool making to aliviate our hardships? Don't need nagativity at this crucial time.

Point is we need to concentrate on building capacity at home first. What do we have to offer the world? Nowadays, no one is interested in issuing generous handouts to Third World countries. What has the WTO and FTAA brought us?

International agreements which were rubber-stamped several years ago were not in our best interests. We're only now feeling the pinch. As the GG herself said, we're attempting to close the stable doors long after the horses have bolted.

Look at the world leading countries and what they are doing.

Do you see a great deal of multi-lateral agreements being entered into?

The USA in particular is still inclined to go for bi-lateral agreements.

Are our politicians capable of doing any kind of independent thinking for themselves at all?

Or, is it that our politicians are so darn mentally lazy that they always find themselves winding up acting like the mindless CARICOM and OEEC sheep?

Imagine that those persons we take time to vote for are surrendering our strategic development and direction to visionless high-chair warming bureaucrats in CARICOM and the OECS.

Where ignorance is bliss ....

Oh dear Blogger directly above I could not have said it better.

We voted for those idiots who said they could do something better; and now they leave our destiny to the high-back chair warmers and sleepers at the OECS,[Other ex-communicant Stooges] ECCB[Eaters of Currenccy, Cash and Bonds] and CARIGONE.

Where ignorance is bliss, tis folly to be wise.

Saint Lucia’s Foreign Policy to be Strengthened. Really?

Is this the most productive idea to emerge out of the fecund imagination of the minds at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or that great consultation?

Are these blokes just mad hatters?

Oh wow, we have a foreign policy?

Foreign policy enough to win the next election, perhaps. I amazed at depth and far-reaching achievements of this heralded strengthening of Saint Lucia's foreign policy.

Man, I never knew that being a copycat was a strengthening exercise. Monkeys mimic others. But people don't call that strength. They look such monkeying around as entertainment and amusement.
