Tell me Prudent,is St.Lucia's reason for existence to kow-tow to the U.S?
What kind of Prime Minister would you be.Has it ever dawned on you that people including independent states have a right to do as they see fit for themselves and their country?.Has the U.S EVER kow-towed to St.Lucia?
Will you Prudent have the balls to stand up or would you be calling the white house to tell you what to do?
Thank goodness people have more sense than to elect you.
You need to relocate from your high and mighty fearful postiion and place and get back to reality

you know better than IMPACS Prudent?
Suddenly you are privy to all the information ?
You are the owner of all the background information on everything.
You know the outcome of the IMPACS report even before it's submitted?
You better go back to washing dishes in Brooklyn

Prudent when will you convene your party's annual party conference or A.G.M it is three years overdue you are operating like a loose canon can you answer that simple question for the people you say you love so much in Gros islet.

Ignore those blood sucking labour fools Mr. Prudent. You are by far much more intelligent than some of those hacks will ever be. Their rantings are like mind over matter. You seem to have lost them here. Proud of of you Sir!!

It does not mean that America is going to accept Kenny's report. Dealing with America is not like dealing with the Civil Service where he can push things down their throats. He better come good or their will smash him like a cockroach. LOL

Since st Lucia has so little to do with the US, why is the government using tax payers money to pay these diplomats in the U.S.? Why haven't they been recalled? Wouldn't that be good belt tightening to begin with?

Tell me about it. If the U.S.A is no longer important to Kenny and his government why don't they get the hell out of the people's country. You can't have your cake and eat it too. People are starving down here like dogs and these fellas are throwing away money in maintaining losers in a country they no longer find useful. choops!

Therold:

this mindset displayed here reminds me of the House Nigger mentality. But then you exhibit even more confusion in your mention of U.S.A. and respect for territorial integrity - have you started drinking excessively?

I know this page is too limited to mention, Grenada, Panama, Cuba, Iraq, Libya, Iran ... what does U.S. and respect for Military invasions say about your stupidity or your drinking?

Anonymous said...

Eh! Eh! Why is Mr. Prudent's solution so much more complicated than the problem he is attempting to solve? Garcon, so who is totally confused here? You tell me. Is senility silently creeping in already?

It is not allthat bad....put the problem in perspective.
Puerto Rico has a 45% povery rate and to date 450,000 have left the island. And that si The Us' prime colony. The ingoing economic problems of the caribbean has a much wider point of origin. In the circumstances, considering what's bing thrown at us, I say SLU is managing it's economic challenges very well.

Prudent what kind of fear tactic you pullin on us telling us that The America has a large percentage of our diaspora? what you trying to suggest? You singing for your American dollar Prudumb

For master Prudent, we don't need a foreign policy. Just simply tow the line from the indications given by the US. We will get more aid.

The clear immaturity of the stance taken by mate shows that we are much, much better off without more than our fair share of known jokers in the pack of fools that show up as candidates at voting time. The government can clearly do with some more lost deposits. Every little intake is a help. Mate clearly belongs to another time and place like behind and in John Compton's shadows.

Right now LPM has two jokers. It seems that the other joker has given us a break.

Aonymous ...I am this very minute working on an article entitled:How To Turn Economic Shock Situations Into An Economic Growth Oportunity..
Whatever little positives I can contribute to help us I will....let's just hope that I publish this one :)

Anonymous said...

Publish it in a highly respected economic journal that is peer reviewed. Then we might listen.

Some of you need to either go back to school or get a new pair of reading glasses to help with your comprehension.

After reading the article I have not come across a single place there where Mr Prudent is suggesting that St Lucia does not a foreign policy. I don't know if it is just pure bias or ignorance of international relations that is driving some of these ridiculous posts.
How about preserving the relationship that SLU already has with the US. Isn't this sensible enough???? Comon, we have to stop making jerks of ourselves.

1. The U.S. was not one of the officially named sponsors of the motion at the UNGA. They prudently selected several vassals for that task, knowing that their lack of credibility is a liability in that world body.

2. Even Israel abstained, knowing that with a land grab of their own going on they are not in much of a position to call out Russia acting in its own sphere of influence to ward off U.S. aggression.

3. Educate yourself about Monroe Doctrine and look at the map. U.S. is stirring the pot and begging for a bloody nose.

4. When big men are talking it is prudent to hold your peace lest you get crushed in the middle.

It is not prudent to resort to expletives in place of objective evidence:

You are going to lose boy. Don't try to challenge the man on that.
Everybody knows the US was the driving force behind the resoluton. They never made any bones about it or tried to shy aware.

PR 101
Why do Spanish /Taino (as in non afro centric)
Republic prefer to first migrate to Puerto Rico before the final destination -USAA.

Puert Rican citizens enjoy ALL the privilleges of US citizenship (unlike St. Lucia "colonial" appendage to GB).
including food stamps , welfare and unemployment checks.

And with that welfare check and car driver license id card the down on his luck Puerto Rican can board a flight to MIA $ 99 -wisk tru immigration (citizen lane-ande start a job at his level of occupational ability E.g., Taxi-within minutes of arrivasl.

Not even a STlucia MD has said alacrity with Homeland security & US Health Dept.
- Just ask our CEO Police Dept.?

It is very obvious that many persons including HULLA did not understand prudent's article.
Persons like HULLA should work on their comprehension, analysis and evaluation skills.
However,if you are at grade five competency then you can't produce any logical response to the article.
It is way,way above your competency level.

Simple question: Cut through the chase. Come on Therold, what's in it for us?

LaJahBless,

How tall can you stand in supporting the US' overthrow of the democratically elected government of Ukraine who would not go along with their predatory austerity measures, to install Nazis as a puppet government to make Ukraine its client state right on the border of Russia?

What sort of leverage can be exerted from a bully who is the greatest purveyor of violence and conflict in the world?

By what right can the US judge countries regarding gross violation of human rights when its government reserves the right to incarcerate its citizens indefinitely without a trial, for any reason it thinks necessary; to cowardly kill its citizens extra-judicially? Why does the US torture anyone it pleases? Why does Obama make a list every Tuesday to decide who is to be killed by drone aircraft; with no regard for the innocent lives of women and children that have been snuffed out as a result?

When will you be forthcoming in admitting to us that you just want your turn at the public feeding trough, where only the UWP and SLP have so far been gorging themselves?

Sorry to intrude on your joy at the shutdown of Lucian Talk, where your maudlin talking points were usually dispatched to the nearest dustbin with alacrity.

LaJahBless,

St. Lucia's foreign policy has always been likened to "standing on the Wm P Blvd near the old Gaiety Cinema begging for quarters to go see a movie in 'pit'". Your inane commentary confirms that you would continue the policy.

Under the guise of "plausible deniability" our "friend" tried to set up shop in the Russian Black Sea port of Sevastopol, Crimea. Just imagine the response if Russian Navy were to make moves toward establishing a base here in SLU. Territorial integrity indeed!
