each Chastanet and Preville have to show and proof why he should be the better candidate,not only to say what positions he had and where, important is what has to be achieved when holding the individual position.
It has become plain to all that the attacks on Chastanet have nothing to do with colour but with socio economic jealousy.
Kenny Anthony's heritage of slave owning ancestors and also with a pure white father who was a member of the St. Lucian 0.001% elites, makes him a more obvious target for the useless, primitive and vicious race baiters from the Labour Party.
Chastanet on the other hand has as his father an individual who came from the middleclass of whites and had to work his way up the ladder of success. Chastanet only has one generation of real elite money to his background.
The hatred of Chastanet therefore comes from two sources. The first and most obvious is that Kenny and his parasitical acolytes see him as the greatest danger as with his economic strength he can finance a good campaign and does not need to 'scrunch' to make ends meet. He is an existentialist threat to their raping of the national treasury and taxpayers.
The second relates to his colour only in the sense that there is the belief that someone of his degree of 'whiteness' and socio economic strength should NOT be involved in politics which is seen as the 'right' of the black man from humble beginnings. Kenny himself for example came into politics with the minimum of financial strength and has only made any real money from his stint in St. Lucian politics.
The racial animosity to Chastanet therefore comes from pure greed as those who see politics as the pathway to wealth with the accounts in Miami which are diverted from their 'godfather' would cease with the UWP in power.
This therefore makes for sad reading. It makes it obvious that the SLP politicians are not there for the people but for their pockets which is why after 11 years in power from 1997 and with EC$2 billion in accumulated debt the country is riven by animosity, a high murder rate,increased poverty, a dismal future, institutions that are broken down and inefficient and a country on a downward spiral. Every day our people look harder and harder as though they are living in hell.
It is like the story of placing a live frog in a pot of water on a stove and as the water heats up it does not realize it is being boiled to death! So with St. Lucians. As their lives fall apart ever so slowly they do not realize they are dying a slow death compliments of Kenny and his parasites bleeding the country to death!
Chastanet had the guts to do what even Sir John knew was required.

From the time Fredericks entered St. Lucian politics it has been even further dirtied from what the SLP has caused.
The UWP fell apart with that clown involved with its internal business. Only with Chastanet and his bold move have we now seen the UWP developing a semblance of decency and a party that deserves to run things in St. Lucia.
Fredericks dominated that abysmal failure Stephenson King and embarrassed him and denigrated his leadership of the country and party.
Fredericks record as a Minister was pathetic and had nothing to show. He could not even get a simple housing development off and running.
All his supporters could show for his 'success' were a few show pieces in Castries that meant nothing for any level of development in St. Lucia.
His constant nauseating use of broken loud English and now racist talk is how vulgar crude destructive people act. And imagine this was a Minister of Government and representative of St. Lucia in the eyes of the world.
Time for him to go back under the rock from where he came with one cell phone on each ear and dribbling filth at all and sundry.

At least Mr. Chastanet is sensible enough to recognize that the majority of St. Lucians are not prepared to have him become a Prime Minister in this country. I am not sure, after his disappointing record in the last UWP Governnment that he could become another Minister.
But it is good to see that he knows that he must never allow this country to continue down the path of another term for this vampire government called the St. Lucia Labour Party.
I do not kknow Preville. But as an individual who is willing to vote for UWP and would not want to see this labour party back in government in saint lucia, then I am happy to see Chastanet's position.
Preville seems a much better fit with the St. Lucian electorate; but he had better be strategic in his approach. Because we here are tired of these QUACK DOCTORATES believing they are some panacea to everything in St. Lucia and end up KILLING THE COUNTRY.

And where is Stephenson King. He must have a role in the United Workers Party. He cannot be discarded in that manner. This will leave a bitter taste in the mouths of many. Those who are in the management of this party MUST DO WHAT IS PROPER; if they are to be successful.
Individuals like Guy Joseph, Ezekiel Joseph, Keith Mondesir, Ausbert D' Auvergne must not be any where near that Party if it is to be successful.

We need A clear VISION in the times we live in, otherwise we could easily be back to square one.
Steven King better choose quickly where he stands, or else it's curtains for his political career.
Apart from the ones you mentioned above, there are others in both Parties I would like to see out of there. Why, because none of them have what it takes to represent St.Lucia abroad. It's my opinion, it would serve St.Lucia better, when an elected Rep have lived, schooled and worked in a responsible position for a number of years in a developed country and have traveled a bit too before entering politics.
Imagine an ex minister being stopped at customs and refused entry in the U.S. for whatever reason, what a damn shame for little St.Lucia, no class at all.
Mr.Preville I do not know you, but I salute you. Don't let that little Phd inflate you. God knows how many guys with a Phd I've worked with, I don't mean to be rude, but nuff said.

Enter Kenny Anthony with a healthy treasury balance,(well what do you know) you guessed it. Party time boys. Jobs for the boys, their brothers, sisters, sons and daughters, jabals, friends, relatives, etc, etc.
And now the borrowing started - the joker is wild buddy, and no one yet can put the Genie back in the bottle.
This man has and continues to ruin the country with his wanton spending with his entourage to expensive hotels in a place like London, creating unwarranted jobs for his en-rouge friends, stick you with VAT, Toni Astaphan, playing legal games with Grynsberg in an American Court, who do you think is paying for all that?
Then his minions are paid to spread racial propaganda against Chastanet knowing the country bookies will drink it like cool aid.
Why is the guy @ 8:05 AM worried about a politician playing politics like Compton did to Mallet to facilitate a seat for Dr. Lewis, instead of worrying for the damn immediate future of a sinking economy that is bankrupting the nation?

Your are still back there backing a party rather than you, as it should be, looking strictly guarding this nation's nationalist interest in totality. In this regard, you as a citizen or resident continue to be a very disappointing failure.
When personal ambition is the main driver of individual and political actions, some good things might happen. This is especially so, if such actions place the politician in a position and in the right light to win the next election.
