The Prime Minister and the Minister for Home Affairs have been negligent; and in particular, the Prime Minister.
Dating back as far as 1990; may well be longer; the Fire Officers have been experiencing problems.
But since the appointment of this bombastic, callous, ignorant piece of trash called Fontinelle; the St. Lucia Fire Service got exponentially worst day, by day.
Kenny Anthony as Prime Minister; who have met with the Fire Officers; more than twice prior to his being kicked out of Governmental Office in 1996; played his ugly, nasty politics with the Fire Service, and created a complete stalemate; ignoring the real issues at hand; and putting the lives and property of the people of St. Lucia at great risk.
But in the end, Kenny Anthony and his political wimp Ministers will all pay dearly for the grief they have meted out on the people of this country.
Kenny Anthony, having made a callous act; that is, getting to the media and announcing the transfer of Fontinelle to the general public; before having the DECENCY and RESPECT to meet with the Fire Service Association, could not FACE the Association; because he ( Kenny Anthony} got a bloody slap in the face', so to speak, when the Officers, recognizing that he was disrespectful to them; continued their strike action unabated. Kenny Anthony was taught a lesson in RESPECT.
I am continuing here.
Phillip PIP Pierre; well known as a political lap-DOG . Facilitator of ANYTHING that is NO GOOD in the Government and Kenny Anthony in particular, has now been used to entertain/facilitate Kenny's trash and stinking behaviour; as PIP always does.
Of course; Kenny, having been spat upon by the Fire Service Association and members; because of his disrespect to them; could not FACE eye-ball-to-eye-ball, the Executive members.
And so; what did he do? He as is customary; conveniently absented himself; and had the 'LAP-DOG' Phillip Pierre to continue the NASTIES; (as he always does extremely well).
In so doing; Kenny Anthony was killing a few birds with one stone.
Firstly, He had to prove to all who are capable of discerning his TRICKS that Phillip Pierre could do what La Corbiniere cannot do.
Secondly,that the Fire Officers would not be given any RESPECT by him (Kenny Anthony). In other words, just who the hell the Fire Officers think they are. They ought to have received his communication via the media in his overnight address, like bloody lap-dogs; put their tails between their legs; and return to work. But Kenny had no such luck.
I am happy to see that there are at least some people in this country who can continue to maintain their human dignity; in spite of the communist, dictatorship ruling of Kenny Anthony.
And there is much more to come; but Kenny will get a rude awakening. The Police Officers will be next in line. Take heed.
Thirdly too; Kenny Anthony had to prove to all who has discerning eyes and eras that even the worm Jimmy Fletcher can do what La Corbiniere cannot manage with his Ministry.
But Kenny is not as smart as he think he is. Nor is Pierre nor Fletcher. And the pit that they are hell-bent in facilitating Kenny Anthony in digging; they along with Kenny Anthony WILL FALL IN IT.
As the saying goes, when you dig a pit; dig one for yourself. And as Bob Marley once sang; "He Who Dig's A Pit SHALL FALL IN IT".
Pay close attention---PIERRE, FLETCHER and ANTHONY.
Any one who has observed Fontinelle, at work would know instantly, that he does not have any capability in managing a Sunday Seventh Day Adventist picnic; far less a Country's Fire Service.
These people in Government are just continuing to kick us in the butt, disrespect us; pissing in our eyes and telling us it is rain.
The fact is Fontinelle should have long been removed from that position in the Public Interest.
I blame Phillip La Corbiniere as much as I blame Kenny And Tony.
Bloggers above you all have put in very well. This man Fontinelle should have been retired from the Fire Service in the public interest.
Both La Corbiniere and Kenny An-too-nee are to be blamed; for what has happened.
The Lambert Charles is another WASTE; and must be removed from that Department in the public interest.
Kenny Anthony continues to treat the Civil Service as if it is that little security hut he built at Government's expense at his residence.
Kenny Anthony, Phillip Pierre, Jimmy Fletcher et al are meme bete meme pwelle.
We all know that.
Just a bunch of ass-holes.

It is very sad that a party that had its beginnings in the labour disturbances of the 1930's has been hijacked by such phonies. They have now made the public service a very openly hostile place to work.
Never mind all the words and empty speeches to the contrary. Those are for uneducated fools.
In this wider Saint Lucian culture, may be not in the deep backward countryside of Belambouche for example, actions always speak louder than words. It is just a pity that some people have very short memories. Others would do almost anything dirty and low in the hope of getting a NICE or STEP do-nothing job. Such jobs is the genius behind the "Better Days" and job creation. But today, only real idiots believe in this, SLP's crap of perpetual poverty. Under Chastenet too, UWP is waiting in the wings to do their version of the same industrial grade crap.
all the firefighters should go along with Shame felix,Nothingnelle and all the rest of useless bunch.There are thousand of us, desperate and good workers looking for jobs.Plus there are thousands of school leavers as well hoping to find a Job some where.I know we can offer a better service than they can.Some of us has experience in the hospitality industry who would not allow a phone to ring more than 3 times and who truly care about people and their well being.Hotel employees work all sort of shifts,put on rotation when business is slow, sometime months with a quarter of their salary or less and they still go back to work providing a service second to none. Government worker are the worst of all workers that is why they all should go they would never survive in the real world of work with such attitude. The country can really do with out them.If you think we cannot do with them, go to the Government offices at 1:30pm when they should be back at work from lunch at 1:00pm and see how many has return from lunch. We need smaller more efficient government.A government office when you call the receptionist yo do not have to wait 5 minutes after several attempts and then transferred too many times and that goes for 999 and 911.Yes we can do with them,we can offer better than them ."trust Me" Because they are useless.They should be sent and trained at the hotels before they hold any such positions .We do not need these useless baggage .
Reality, you might think so. And you are dead right. With very, very few exceptions of course.
But guess what? Kenny Anthony, Phillip Pierre, Jimmy Fletcher et al; Likes It So.
These are the kinds which they continue to promote and place in high positions in the Puublic Service.
For example; Jimmy Fletcher. Examine his TRANSCRIPT for the so-called degree he possesses. And look at where he has been placed.
Example again; Allison whatever her name is, from the OECS Central Bank to Ambassador, to Permanent Secretary at Communications.
Can't you see these rats are playing an ugly game in the Public Service; only to benefit their corruption. Nothing good would come out of this for the country.
Another example. Too-Jour-Soo was a disaster as a United Workers Party, pRIME mINISTER. bUT GUESS WHAT? hE IS THE BEST, ACCORDING TO kENNY aNTHONY; FOR A job IN THE kENNY aNTHONY aDMINISTRATION; THAT IS THE lABOUR pARTY; AS FOREIGN aFFAIRS, ADVISOR.
