Stanley,
Your cogent article offers the timely blueprint for extracting St. Lucians from the morass of under-achievement, which they've fooled themselves into believing is "world-class" and "cutting-edge", just because they can boast of two Nobel-Laureate sons-of-the-soil.
The neo-colonial political predator class knows very well of what you speak, but do not want to change the status quo: Their privilege and status depends on a dumbed-down "citizenry" focused on "bons temps" and "political tribalism", instead of taking advantage of the advancements in technology and communications to develop their critical thinking skills!
