I was so proud when Sammy got into the WI team.
Prouder than having nobel Laureates.
However WI cricket under the stewardship and Leadership of Lucians has been embarassingly shamboplic.

Its only my misplaced patriotism, that's calling for the sacking of the Chairman,Chief Executive and captain.

Yeah man continue to stay in pain. There is no quick fix to West Indies Cricket. In my view it is clear that there were a lot of positives out of the world cup in that i did not see the team depending on any one player. that is the most positive sign because we have this counterproductive notion of depending on one star player. For heavens sake it is called a team and every one has to step up. My concern with West Indies now have more to do with their focus, mental approach and their intelligence as opposed to their talent and ability. Talent have never been our weakness. The era of Calypso cricket have long gone and have been replaced by a more scientific approach which requires a much higher level of intelligence and focus. The Athlete with all the natural talent in the world will be useless if he does not posses the ability to focus on his task in a professional and intelligent manner. That's the area of their game which is lacking. Oh how i missed a character Like D. Rudy Webster in the team. Chop and change is counter productive unless this aspect of West Indian cricketers are remedied. Focus focus focus focus, mental toughness, mental toughness mental toughness, mental toughness,Professional approach and freaking intelligent cricketers is what we need.
